Guest guest
...clarifier: I only get inklings of symptoms, but no actual cold symptoms, like runny nose, eyes, sneezing coughing, etc. I catch it before it can get started. ...my method is to listen to weather changes in the news, and observe others and self for symptoms. Tired, attitude change, ache, soreness in throat, watery eyes, etc. and get out the device for a couple of short 30 minute sessions a day for two or three days. I use electrodes one on each wrist, so current hits a lot of blood. My heart is fine, no pacemakers, so this is possible for me, you should check facts about yourself before you try this method, ensure you're safe for it. bG > > I have no idea which is better, the debate can be endless. Guest guest
Hi, Dick The lantern is one I use, it sits there, if I feel like it, but i've also used the small 9volt thing, the auto-unit, etc. It really doesn't matter so long as the .2-.5mA is used in my case, device irrelevant. Anything that provides this current in a steady flow is good. The current needed and time is uniform, it just depends how many microbes are in the path. I don't think it matters to the effect in pure terms, but each thing like colds, vs teeth, etc has a different path, so the path across the microbe is significant, I'd say moreso than the amt of current used per sq area. In general, if you use 100ua for an hour it's going to completely inactivate an area the size of your thumb filled with HIV. Of course a complete inactivation in so short a time isn't needed or desirable. But more important there's little of it in your thumb, you have to find the right target area, then apply it where it hits the most of the virus, for HIV the gut area. I've stated this key fact a bunch of times, but the precedent and prestige of others tends to wipe out this rational approach and people just do what someone who is oft-quoted said to do. The passage of time means more is discovered, and the latest stuff on this group in the last 1.5 years is more important for hep-c and HIV than all our previous time put together, since we found out where these two viruses should be addressed. Unfortunately few are doing that, instead following the advice of earlier data which takes a wrong approach...what can I say, if they won't read or think: it's going to end badly. On the other hand, those left will be those who read and think. So nature is on the side of progress in this case at least. bG > >> > >> I have no idea which is better, the debate can be endless. Guest guest
Well, let's say survival of the current form of the wisest, that phrase doesn't hurt anybody who happens to be in the reservoir of those serving as nature's random testing and entertainment troupe. The 4 A's will give you abt the same as the 6v subject to whether the A's are NiMH, Alkaline (higher), NiCd (lower) etc. Good question though. Some who want a slightly weaker current can use NiCD for example and fine tune thusly. bob > The survival of the wisest, huh? > I used my ammeter to check the current when hooked to the lantern battery, > and it is in the microamp range. Haven't checked the 4-AA batteries yet. Do > you know where it would fall? Probably about the same, but would not last > near as long as the lantern.
