I have been sooo lucky this year, I went ahead

and got the flu shot and so did my son and boy, am I

glad I did I have been hearing much about how everyone

has this flu, I hope you are well soon<br>Sunflower

Be careful though. My family and I had this years

flu for over a month. We finally went to the dr and

he said the strain we had, that everyone is getting,

is not stopped by the flu shot. We heard a lot of

stories of people having high fever and night terrors. My

hubby thought someone was coming in our house and

moving him around hurting him. Another man in our city,

thought someone was entering his home, he got his gun and

actually fired a shot. THe police took his gun away, he

didn't even remember shooting his gun. A nine yr old

girl woke her family with screams, it took the parents

10 minutes to calm her down. She saw an ugly old

woman sitting on her chest who wouldn't let her breath.

I've talked with people different parts of the country

who say it's a problem where they live too. MLJ

A warm welcome to all our new members, its hard to believe how big

this group has grown since its beginning. But sad to me too that so

many people suffer in our pain. I hope our newest members will find

some help and friendship here. Please feel free to post any

questions you have, the only thing I ask is NOT to discuss pain meds

in posts. This is for everyone safety in the group. Any other meds

are fine to ask ??'s about. I know all of us have tried several

kinds of meds in our search to end the constant pain we live in. I

hope everyone had a good holiday with family and friends. I hope the

coming holidays are not too hard on everyone. Remember the winter

cold affects your pain so if you live where its cold bundle up and

stay warm. Also stress is a big pain factor as all of us know so the

holidays can easily hurt those in chronic pain. Not to be a downer I

just hope everyone will remember to relax and try and enjoy the

holiday season with family and friends, stay safe and warm and in as
