My Hubby, Son, Myself are all O+ all my Siblings are O+, My Parent's were as well. My Hubby's Family is also O+. We joke about heck we could do our own Transfusions lolol. As with DNA I have only 2 Sister's who could be a Donor to . Hubby and I may be her birth Parents but we found out that we do not match other thing's. 2 of my Sister's are Platelet Donors and they match . How we found this out was was so sick the Dr thought about another treatment and wanted to see who would be a match in the Family. Well those 2 matched. went to the Red Cross with one of the Sister's and was going to Donate blood. She was turned down as a Person who has a Chronic Disease can not Donate. When she asked why not they told her unless she has been in Remission for 3 yrs she could not Donate. Strange though I asked if she asked was JA a Disease which could possibly be transmitted to another through getting the blood? She said well I never thought to ask that.
