Guest guest
: I truly feel your pain and heartache. We had much the same result with our 2nd opinion rheumy. He thought that Rob was hypermobile and that there was a 'psychological component' to his pain. He said that Rob needed to exercise more. He said that with Rob (at that time) having osteopenia that it must be the cause of the pain. He did not even attempt to explain why he had effusions in both hip joints. Didn't offer to do any further testing to find out why he hurt. This was the low point of Rob's journey. I already had another appointment scheduled with the third rheumatologist and when we kept that appt we began to get answers. I know this is of little comfort right now, but you truly are a fighter and I know that you will find the right doctor for your child. I will be praying for you. In the meantime, I heartily agree with Robbin. needs to have a wonderful birthday! I hope that you all can get past this and help her celebrate. I'll be praying for you tonight. and Rob 18 Spondy
