I just got some and it says on the packet- " a Lectric Soda bath refreshes relaxes and revitalises weary aching limbs: Add half a cup after the full quantity of bath water is drawn. Aching feet: just one tablespoon in a basin of warm water gives you such heavenly relief. (!) Water softener and general Household cleaner: Always dissolve in hot or warm water, before using in washing machine. " Ha ha! Some of the other wording on this packet sounds like it's been translated into English from Japanese or somewhere! Anyhow, apparently it's a wonder soaker, for swelling, sore joints, and your clothes! We'll be trying it.
