Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I'm pleased to hear that your daughter began to improve when her AED's were eliminated and use of vitamins nutrition began to stabilize her. Are you also making sure she also gets her vitamins from food sources in addition to supplements? Some vitamins may not have been discovered and isolated, but are in food sources and some kids can't digest vitamins from pills as well as from food. Dr.n Whitaker,MD wrote about a new cure for Down Syndrome in his newsleter Health & Healing of June 1996. Using large amounts of Vitamin C,Vitamin A,beta carotene, Vitamin E, zinc and selenium the excessive production of Hydrogen Peroxide can be neutralized. Dr Henry Terkel,MD had been treating Down Syndrome patients back in the 1940's as a metabolic disease called the U series, including ant-oxidants,enzymes,thyroid supplement, a diuretic and a stimulant. The Frug Piracetam which is not FDA approved is used, but appear to be safe.FDA ignored it and restricted Dr.Terkel to practice within the state of Michigan, where he lived. Dixie Tafoya, the mother of a child with Down Syndrome rediscovered this therapy. For more information see the Cognitive Enhancement Research Institute (CERI) Smart Drug News is their newsletter.
