- high neuts is a good thing, usually. Better than high lymphs. Unexplained

fevers are a cause for observation. You have heard the famous term: B symptoms.

Low grade fevers is one of them. A

temporary low grade fever can be caused by a million things. I'm just suggesting

that if it persists it warrants investigation. In

Yes, dehydration can cause a low-grade fever and a headache. Check in with your Dr. tomorrow if you still don't feel well.

Thanks to all who responded to my e-mail. It probably was dehyration,

because today I have no fever, I'm OK. It dropped precipitously after

hydrating myself and drinking Pedialyte. Goes to show we don't even

know, sometimes, that we're lacking in water until we get symptoms.

That would explain also why my lips are too dry and I have some constipation.

I THOUGHT I was drinking enough water and other fluids, I think the problem

is that my body never signals "thirst." I've read that happens with

older folks, I'm 66.

Ok you asked and you are going to get quite a few responses I am sure. The first thing you need to do is keep track of the foods you are eating and the amount of calories. Did you have the lapband or sleeve surgery?

You need to keep track of your total calories at NO more than 800 per day. I highly suggest that you use this site: http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/. I think you may be eating more calories than you think you are eating. One thing I see is that you are eating an English Muffin. What is it made of? The carbs that you eating should be WHOLE GRAIN--not whole wheat. You should not have more than 20 grams of carbs per day and they should only be whole grain.

What is with the occasional cocktail? That is something you NEED to give up if you are not losing weight--it is empty calories and do you have any idea just how many calories your are consuming when you drink alcohol????? Check it out and ask your self do you really want to spend your calories on an occasional cocktail????? I am not putting you down, I am just saying stop and think about this before having it. Do you need it or do you just want it??????

Not exercising is a big mistake. You said you are weak when you tried. Maybe you need to see your doctor and have a blood panel run to find out why you are so weak. That would be a concern if it was me. I got really weak and found out my potassium was low--nothing to fool around with. It may not be that at all but why not get it checked out to make sure you are healthy and that you can start doing something like walking. Remember calories in to calories out is how you are going to lose this weight you want to lose.

When it comes to exercise, walking is a nice way to start out. I have no idea where you live, but for me we walk at the Mall during the bad weather and in the evening too. It is a nice place to walk any time of the day that you have the time to walk.

I don't believe that your acid blockers have anything to do with this. It is more about what you are eating. If you don't change what you are putting in your body then you will continue to have what you have now-- a small weight loss. You have this tool, so why not put it to work for yourself. What kind of protein are you eating? Turkey,Chicken and Fish are the ones that I found that work good for me. I have stayed away from red meat. I have very little red meat anymore.

Coffee is something that has caffeine in it and I would stay away from that too. I can only make these suggestions, but ONLY YOU can change your lifestyle. This has to be a lifestyle change NOT a diet. You will need to do this for the rest of your life. Your success depends on you and what you are willing to do.

I wish you great success and keep asking questions. I have found that these things worked for me, and I can only speak about what I know.

Hugs,

Suzanne

I had my surgery on October 19th and wieghed 185 at the time. My current weight is 150 and I've actually gained 2 lbs this week :-(I know that I have less restriction these days, but I still can't eat much.I focus on hard proteins, protein shakes, jerkey, cheese, eggs. I'll occasionally have a half an english muffin with melted cheese or nuts - and the occasional cocktail (only 1 because more than one upsets my stomach).I've also indulged in coffee here and there and notice a different feeling in my stomach after indulging. Maybe it's the acid.I haven't taken my acid blocker for about 2 months. Could that be part of the problem?I don't exercise regulary. I was too weak when I tried, though I think I could do more now.Any ideas?

HI Bee,

I apologize if this post is a repeat. I don't know if it went through.

I have asked these questions before, and don't know if I missed your reply.

I have been told I have IBS, Leaky Gut, malabsorption, maldigestion, yeast and

bacteria overgrowths etc.

My symptoms include constipation, low abdominal cramps, painful gas, bloating, a

feeling of rumbling, gurgling, trapped gas, like something is inside poking to

get out. A very difficult feeling to describe. Feeling of a spark being set off

inside. All these are pretty much constant 24/7. I do enema daily and have for

quite sometime and concerned about that. If I don't do them I feel my sx's get

worse, but when I do them I also feel worse, and sx's are not always gone. It is

difficult to evacuate the enema.

I have been on a diet of no carbs, cut out any nuts and seeds, veggies, that I

am not sensitive to, meats(not red meat)and fish, coconut oil, ghee butter, try

to get fats, for almost a year with NO improvements.I have cheated over time,

but not much compared to how long I have been on a diet like this.

I get a bit confused with the diet, maybe because nothing is working, and cannot

figure out what to do next.

The medical profession is no help, and I am at a loss. I am at the end of my

rope with no hope. I read many success stories, but I am not one. It sound

crazy, but canot figure out what works, because nothing seems to.

I definately need help with this problem.

Thank you

Elaine

I would not send for the Nutrl Adrenal Extra until we know what

the results are Anne. As it is, sends out the goodies as soon as orders

come in, so you will receive them the day after you order.

Sheila, thank you so much for getting back so quickly.

I will definitely send for a salivary adrenal kit today -

should I send for some NAE or wait for test results? I stopped taking that

too - I could really kick myself for getting so slapdash.
