Guest guest
Thanks for the advice-yes I guess cuz I'm so new to this disease I worry to much over Nate's labs. The back pain pushed me over the top and I asked the rheumy to go over the labs with me. She said she noted the unusual bun and calcium levels. Creatinine- not a big worry. She was hoping it was more of just the Naprosyn hard on the kidneys and was planning to just repeat labs in March. I said that was fine with me if it was fine with her. She knows I'll call if Nate has any worse symptoms or the back pain continues. She also said push the liquids...to reduce the Bun. After the call- 5 minutes later she called back. she had checked his chart and noticed we had not done calcium levels all year. So why not recheck the end of this week and while checking that pull some for other problems that cause the calcium to be high. A one poke visit! She said most likely it is only meds- but high calcium levels is a little unusual. Hopefully this is just an error or not enough water in him. You guys are a great balance to have and perfect to vent with...thanks-Dawn (Nate systemic 2) __________________________________________________
