Hi gang,

We don't go back until the 22nd of Dec and I have tried everyting to avoid

the dreaded Yellow shots(Mtx). We tried 4 months of oral in the beginning, over 3

long years ago,and nothing then and nothing now. It's only week 6 so not a

total lost hope. Our experiance has always been 8 weeks to see improvement(with

the

shots)

His wrists do not hurt except when he puts lots of pressure on them. His

example was to be big and bad and hit the floor. He feels famous because you can

Google Larson and he is #6.It's very frustraiting trying to get him where

he was before we tapered too much.

Becki,

Many years ago we got off ALL meds. Of course, that little bit of

bliss lasted only 3 weeks before al h### broke loose. Anyway, I wanted to

let you know that when we restarted the methotrexate it took close to 12

weeks to see results. I think it is fairly common to have it take longer the

second time around.

I hope does respond soon and you're able to avoid the injections.

Liz

Hi Liz,

Thanks for the info.

I was planning on giving more time since he is doing realy well.I am

just a bit leary of it working because we tried oral for 4 months in the

beginning and nothing.

I am however going to bring up my concerns with the rheumy on the 22nd.

Thanks again
