Guest guest
No problem, Helen. also needed a lot of folic when she was on higher doses of methotrexate, so the leucovorin was a real blessing. was off methotrexate for 17 months, but started up again about 3 weeks ago as we made the switch from Enbrel to Remicade. Her methotrexate dose is much lower this time. only 7.5mg per week. but her rheumy had her start with leucovorin again just because of her past history. Guest guest
Hi Helen seems to be doing well on the Remicade, but has only had one infusion. The next one is on Monday. It has been interesting since the first infusion on the 6th~~ She's had such sparkle and energy again. My husband even wanted to know what kind of " happy drug " was mixed in with the Remicade! We had thought she was doing pretty well on the Enbrel (the biggest reason for the switch was to see if it would make a difference with her hair). Anyway, my dad and I were talking the other day and I told him, when he asked, what I told you about the sparkle and the energy. With great relief he told me how worried he and my mother were at Thanksgiving. He said they just didn't think she looked well at all. I guess seeing her every day we just didn't see what others were seeing. Okay, long answer to an easy question! How's Nick today? I so hope that the Enbrel will work wonders for him. Guest guest
-Liz.. Im glad that is doing well on the remicade. I hope this is the answer to her hair loss problem too... I know EXACTLY what you mean about the sparkle and energy...I have soo missed that in Nick lately.. He's lost his " spunk " , I sure hope it returns soon.... I wish continued good fortune with the remicade.....
