It worked and they might cut the heads off to test mercury levels.Thats one big fish even without the head.

California has been having huge medical problems in relation to all the mercury in the fish. My mom had forbid me to eat sushi until everything is taken care of.. I love sushi.. You can't go into a resturant that serves fish without seeing a sign with a warning about the amount of mercury in the fish its horrible..

Wow!!!! Awesome catch Chris. My son, he's 15, would just love to catch any fish. He is trying to earn his fishing badge for scouts and you need to catch 2 and he hasn't been able to catch any. Last time his dad caught one and I caught two. He was so bummed!!That is weird about them wanting to analyze them. So are they safe to eat???
