Guest guest
, I am so sorry. That is a very hard thing to deal with. Our ped, whom we have been going to for 20 years, has cancer that has returned and she has decided not to do bone marrow. She will probably stop practicing in July she told me. I will miss her very much as she is the one who has always been there for us through all the medical stuff we have gone through. She truly puts her patients first. These drs who treat our children well become almost like family, don't they? I am sorry you have lost a trusted advocate for your son. Michele (16,pauci & spondy) I'm in shock... I was just reading the paper prior to going to bed, and looked at the obits, and Rob's orthopedist, age 48 (Dr. Eldridge) died of a massive heart attack yesterday! I can't believe it! He was such a nice doctor, and was the one who was aggressive about Rob's hip pain and got him into a rheumatologist so quickly. He helped Rob get diagnosed. We will always feel very indebted to hime. He was a very nice man and very respected in the community. I have a friend whose son was treated by him for club foot, and she is going to be devastated. I am so sad for Dr Eldridge's patients and his family. Rob was due to go back to him later this year to follow up on his spondylolysis at L5 vertebrae. and Rob 14 Spondy

Guest guest
:Yes, it sure was. He didn't look right in December when we went for Rob's back (spondylolysis) and I remarked to Rob at the time how he had aged so fast...must have been something going on then... and Rob 14 Spondy On Thu, 22 Apr 2004 11:39:12 -0700 A Morse <dam755@...> writes: , a real shock indeed and so young a man.
