Hi,

Thanks , for forwarding the School Reintegration for Children

with Chronic Illness Handbook. I'm sorry for the difficulty you had

trying to post it as an attachment. I've disabled that email feature,

temporarily. Instead, I've gone ahead and posted it as a text document

to our groups' file section so that all members may read it. The link is:

/files/

Thanks again,

Georgina

Chronic illness and school

I have come in contact with a Professor who has done research on

chronically ill children and how schools can best support the child

and their family. She is a Professor at Mason University

Graduate School, in Virginia. I hope her program grows and many

school districts will implement her ideas. I'm trying to attach her

handbook but not having much luck. If you're interested in reading

the handbook....just email me at knoblefamily@... and I will send

it back to you. Fairfax County Schools in Virginia have been trained

for the last two years and hopefully this will help many children who

face a chronic illness. I'll try to email Georgina the handbook and

maybe she could post it for everyone.
