Guest guest Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 Yes it is and it was a dificult choice in selecting the winning submission from all the entrants. But for me! this one of the hands holding each other ' the child and adult' truely captured it all. I am so glad you really like the shirt! and maybe some of your family and friends will too!!!! Guest guest Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Hey Donna, I blew it.I should have gotten 3 shirts because and Shelby fought like crazy over them.I realy didn't think he would wear it.They both proudly wore them to school when we got back from seeing you guys. The good thing though is finaly has an arthritis t-shirt that doesn't hang to his knees. It will be a couple weeks but I will be ordering another one for me,again, lol Had a blast Sunday.Good thing you didn't witness your baby holding Uncle Rusty's tin can spud gun.I can't remember if you had left to pick Matt up but when the boys took hiking in the woods and Allan went searching for them he found a man that wanted to call the Sherrif to come hunt them down and the whole time they were back at the house.Sorry we couldn't stay longer, but we will be back Aug/Sept. Guest guest Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Hey FACES, For our walk I put Shelby and her friend Brinlee in this yrs t-shirts,I wore last yrs t-shirts and wore his team shirt which is the 45th civil support team from our national guard. After the walk the kids all went to Jazz Fest and changed.Brinlee is willing to give 1 shirt up but refusing to give the one she wore up.She wore it to school Friday and they put on a play for all the second graders. So be expecting me to be ordering more. It's so cool that this little 7 yr old is not willing to give the shirt up and is spreading awareness that Kids Get Arthritis Too. did a realy great job, such an artist to be 8 yrs old. See you gals again in late August early September. Hugs Becki and 5 systemic PS)Donna I don't know if you called the Nashville AF or not but we got a FULL scholorship to the AJAO in San Diego.I cried tears of joy for 2 days straight.Pray for .Next Friday is Arthritis awareness for the Nashville Sounds minor league baseball team and he throws the opening pitch. He can hit but throws like a girl who can't throw. I am looking to runaway and this sounds like such fun!!! > Hi Donna, This Friday at 7pm is starting time.Tickets are on sale for $10 with $3 going to the Arthritis Foundation. You have to request the Arthritis tickets specificaly and there is a special section to sit in.Nashville is about 3 hours from Louisville and you gain an hour due to central time zone. The name of the stadium is Grear stadium, havent been there in years. All I know is somewhere in downtown Nashville.I am supposed to be getting more details early this week. Nashville is a great city with lots to do or plenty of hotels and do nothing. I deleted 2 e-mails with the contact info but you can always call (615)254-6795 and ask for ,, Tina or tell them you are interested in the sounds game and they can e-mail you all the info. Little Miss Brinlee is just going to have to let us borrow (our)FACES t-shirts for the game. That way Kids Get Arthritis Too will be all over the big screans. Hugs Becki and 5 systemic Quote
