Guest guest
Depends.. usually they add another med such as pred.. if its bad enough.. or change it. Usually with things like Enbrel their assumption is you shouldn't flare. But because I was off it for a week and a half I'm sure for me it will be keep taking what I'm taking.. maybe increased the celebrex.. and then see what happens if it gets worse then go back to the doctors.. I dunno haven't called my rheummy.. but I did take a nice five hour nap. Sorry I dont know the exact answer to that question. In the past for me it was just means of changing meds.. Sorry to hear about the strep situation in your house.. Lots of love (poly JRA and Spondy, 19)
Guest guest
;So sorry to hear that you are in a flare. I hope that restarting the Enbrel will take care of it. I hate that word. I was feeling a lot better from my kidney infection and decided to push myself a little to hard. We got new couches on Friday so I rearranged the living room and cleaned the entire hour I even vacummed my moms room.. just to be nice cause she really allowed me to take out my frustrations about being sick on her without taking it personally. On Saturday I went to the beach and stayed out a little to late {1:00 am} which let me remind you is not late for a 19 year old.. but anyway.. And on sunday I re-did our guestroom to be nice once agian. By Sunday night I was starting to feel a little achy, then the rash above my eyes started up, i started feeling sick to my stomach.. I got a low grade fever.. and my heartrate was up.. for me these are all indications of the F word.. Monday morning I couldn't even get out of bed.. my legs would not work. At about 6 at night I was able to get out of bed and go take a shower.. I took pain killers and everything trying to make it stop hurting.. and hoping this would not be the beginning of a Flare.. but it seems that I'm entering that teritory.. my joints are so stiff.. and everything hurts.. I am fatigued so badly.. that I'm afriad the F word has occured.. :::sigh::: Sorry just needed to vent.. Thanks for listening.. Oh but on a nice note I am allowed to take my Enbrel again.. so that at least is nice.. Lots of Love (poly JRA, Spondy, 19)
Guest guest
Hi , I hope your Enbrel works it's magic again and gets this flare under control really quickly. Try not to let this get the best of you, okay? I know that can be so hard to do, especially when you're feeling all sore and achy and tired, but know that we're all sending healing vibes and hoping tomorrow is a much better day for you.
