n's rash can be spots, lines, blotches, circles, etc. Some are light in color, some are dark, some are raised and some are not. Sounds like Dr. Seuss doesn't it? (n, 15, systemic)

Lines/Rash

Hello All:I know each child can present with a different rash, but I have never seen this or even heard of it yet. Caitlin typically gets spots on her hands now at night. Last night when I went to look at her hands and record for the night (journal on her days, etc.) she had the spots, but this time she had lines. Small 1-2" lines on her right forearm. They were very light colored pinkish/red almost like a new scar. I took pictures of them to show the rheumy when she goes again. Has anyone seen these on their child before? Thank you.Patty

Patty,

I'm attaching a couple of photo's of Nick from last May, this was before he was dx, after he was really sick, but at the start of another flare. The rash on his face is different from the typical rash he gets on his body. His body rash is much more like the photos I have seen on the web of typical systemic rashes. The 2nd picture is more the salmon colored Systemic rash alhtough its hard to see.

I just thought it might be interesting to compare. At one time i did notice lines on Nick forearms, on the inside just above the wrist that looked more like a healing scar.

Hi , Becki and Helen:

Thanks for responding. Sounds like these rashes really follow whatever

pattern they so choose.

Helen, thanks for sending the pictures. Unfortunately, I can't view them,

something with the zip file.

Take care.

Patty
