Kim, my ex or I (depending on who takes my son to therapy) always talk to

the dr. Most times, my son and I will go back for half of a session and

then I go out into the waiting room for the 2nd half. When I am in the room

with them, I go over some things/issues that my son has had recently so that

he will talk to him about them. I would question your daughter's therapist

about it. I believe that parents need to be involved with their children's

therapy.
