Guest guest
Hi Becca, I have been over to the sparkpeople website, and am having a hard time wrangling their system. Can you tell me how you were able to change their standards to your recommended values according to Bee's plan? I have spent most of today trying to make it all fit my needs but I find that I am constantly fighting their need for me to eat scads of carbs and cut my fats down to almost nothing! I keep thinking that if Becca did it, then I can do it too! But so far, no luck. LOL! Fit day has it's weakness, but I am truly bumfuzzled by sparkpeople! I can see that this site has potential, and am hoping that the problem is my ignorance. If I can change the standards to reflect my personal needs - ala low carb and high fat, I will be their friend forever! The question is " how " ??? Thanks again, > > > Yes, by height, I just mis-spoke! I'm 5'6 " so I didn't have to do any figuring because your article had already done the work for me! > > Becca > > > Of course you do not calculate your ratios according to your weight, since it is automatically calculated according to your height: > > http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods8.php > > > > All the best, Bee > > >
Guest guest
Becca, I worked some more with sparkpeople and figured out most of my questions. I found out that if you put too much information in as to your goals and conditions when joining and setting up your account, the software goes on " autopilot " and will not allow you to customize anything. I just wiped my account and started over and now I can easily adjust my goals to fit this program. The only question I have left is " HOW DO YOU GET THE PROGRAM TO SUBTRACT FIBER FROM YOUR DAILY CARB COUNT? " If you can explain this to me, I will be a happy camper! Thanks, > > > > > > Yes, by height, I just mis-spoke!
