Guest guest
Hi Cross wires here I think, I am talking about salivary samples I am doing today for a full adrenal profile!! From: Lilian15-googlemail <lilian.swallow@...>Subject: Re: Fw: Re: More questions?thyroid treatment Date: Sunday, 29 June, 2008, 5:04 PM Dehydration is the answer. When you are properly hydrated your urine should be hardly noticeable whereas the more dehydrated your are the darker the colour. Good indication whether you are drinking sufficient. As you are not drinking overnight you are therefore more dehydrated. Lilian Hi I tend to be in bed by just after 10 so tonight it will be hard for me! This might sound a bit yuk but my 8am sample is a different colour to the 12pm one, its slightly yellow whereas the 12pm is whiteish, I am just wondering why? Not happy with your email address? Guest guest
I think this thyroxine only must be getting to my mind first Lilian The messages have got a bit mixed up - Sara started the thread but your question was directed at Pat(patersonia) who said<I've just started using T3 with the supervision of my doc.> (msg 15306) and it was Sara who answered you.BTW, Pat is in Australia so I don't think she can help with your question unfortunately :-(Gillian
Guest guest
I haven't noticed any difference as yet, but it's a natural supplement and I've only been taking it for a few days, so my guess would be it's too early to tell. Guest guest
Thanks , I guess from your response that I may well be at an earlier stage of symptoms. I always have slight balance difficulties, and have had for over two years, it's just that some days I have learned to know from the early headache symptom that it's going to be more pronounced all day. At other times I'm not so bad or it comes on later in the day. Take care, M x > Hi > I dont wake up knowing what sort of day it will be I just know it will be one of the same! > >
Guest guest
That was me Lilian (: I'm the person taking T3 under the supervision of my doc. P > > You said in your message that you had started using T3 with the supervision of your doctor so I do not understand when you say you are not taking it. Have I got the wrong person > > I have left the messages in so that you can see what I mean. > > Lilian
Guest guest
Lilian, I'm in Australia! Guest guest
Thanks Pat, I didn't realise that you were in Australia until Gillian mentioned it. My son, DIL and grand-daughter went to Australia last Christmas for a holiday. My grand-daughter was two and three quarters then. She kept saying she was going to Mystralia. We thought she had misheard the "Au" for "Our" thinking we were saying Ourstralia. However I was talking to her recently about Australia (she remembers quite a lot of the visit still) and she was still calling it Mystralia. So I pointed out that it was called Au..stralia and not Our... stralia. She replied "yes, but it isn't everyone's Stralia". So she still calls it Mystralia. Hope that they had a great time over here. It is a great place to live and lots of people love it when they come and visit. P
Guest guest
Hi Lilian, I’m sure it is. I felt as if I was senile in my 40’s on T4, and my Daughter said I really needed a minder!! Guest guest
Hi Lilian, It’s wonderful the complications of language in the little mind! It is so strangely logical. Guest guest
Hi Lya, I know Bee is off tomorrow so I thought I'd try to help. I've been involved in this support group for a year and I've learned a few things. First, carbohydrates are not necessary for any human ever. Before you attempt to do meat and fat only, talk to Bee. I think she has a link on her website about doing the Candida diet with no carbohydrates, but here is an interesting article to read as well: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods11.php Constipation is not caused by lack of fiber, it is caused by not eating enough fat: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods16.php As far as the apples go...they aren't on the program so don't eat them ever. It's never good to eat things that are not on Bee's list of foods. Take care, Josh
Guest guest
> > Hi, > > This is Lya again with a few more questions. > > My three year old daughter loves to eat meat and meat with the fat on it like lamb chops and fried pork belly. I have to really coerce her to eat veggies by doing a bite of veggies for a bite of meat. Is it OK if she mainly eats meat or should I continue to push the veggies? > > She is also prone to constipation. Does she need the veggies in order to help her go? +++Hi Lya. Josh gave you information about this. +++In order for anyone to do okay on an all meat and fat diet they must first be able to consume high enough fats in ratio to their meats, otherwise they will get constipated like this article explains: How to Successfully Overcome Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php +++Also since she had constipation in the past her body will be retracing it while it is healing itself. > > Also, she has had bad reactions to any dairy in the past (including ghee). I have kept her away from dairy for a long time! She accidentally ate a small piece of liver sauteed in butter and immediately became constipated and started wetting the bed and sleeping poorly. It is the fifth day with no bowel movement! I know it's the butter because this has happened before. Would you consider this a healing reaction or should she just stay away from all dairy? > If so, will she be able to eat dairy again? +++Wetting the bed and sleep issues are healing and detoxifying reactions, so don't blame good healing foods like liver and butter for them. Our bodies are designed to consume good foods in order to be healthy. However, I did explain how anyone can be constipated because of not getting enough fats in ratio to their protein. +++She should only have butter and in order to minimize her healing reactions start with 1 tsp 3-5 times a day with protein, and slowly increase it very 3-5 days. If 1 tsp is a problem, start with 1/2 teaspoon. Of course we cannot avoid all healing reactions. > > Lastly, some old friends from out of town want to go apple picking with us. She has been fruit-free since June. Would one day of apple binging hurt her or is it better to stay away? +++Yes it will hurt her. Fruits are particularly bad because they contain fructose, which is one of the worst sugars anyone can have because of how our bodies process it. Of course all sugars feed candida.
