Guest guest
Hi All, I am a former OR RN who was infected in 1987 (age 37) with lyme disease but not diagnosed until 1993 when I had become " ICU " level ill. Now I'll be 58 in April. I was later diagnosed with other tickborne diseases. Eight years ago I began having daily fevers and profuse sweats and was diagnosed with yet another strain of babesiosis called babesiosis duncani. I may have gotten that through several blood transfusions due to severe bleeding complications following my total abdominal hysterectomy also eight years ago. I am treated by an excellent lyme literate MD who is world renowned. Unfortunately I am treatment resistant to the babesiosis strain I have and therefore have chronic late stage neurologic lyme and have active other tickborne diseases. I was taken off all antibiotics for a month awhile ago as well as the malaria meds that treat the babesia which is similar to malaria. Within one month I was so severely ill I knew I was dying. My " normal " with tx is about 40% of my long ago healthy self. Back on treatment it took 12 long terrible days for me to be able to even function at all again. Clearly I am one of the many people who needs to be maintained on antibiotics etc to survive having chronic active lyme etc. I want to begin your program since I know it is the right thing to do. I am not supposed to eat carbs since sugar feeds the bacteria but become lax since this has been such a long and severe illness. I am already on nystatin daily with acidophilis and supplements but want to order the most important items you recommend to do this right. It is hard for me to concentrate but have printed out the pages you said to print. Can you simplify exactly what I must buy (coconut oil etc) to begin?? Both daughters, husband and especially myself have all been on IV antibiotics for lyme disease as well as orals and I have been on IV abx at least 6 times due to the severity of my illness then have been on oral antibiotics for many years. I cannot go off antibiotics or I will not make it. I was told this by my doctor who has seen thousands of tickborne cases. I now also work with a great MD who is regulating my very low thyroid and several other hormones that were abnormal due to brain damage that affected my pituitary gland from my infections. Sorry so long but it's hard to summarize my long complicated severe illness in one post. I look forward to trying to be the best I can be under the circumstances. I am very heavy for several reasons and have not really exercised much in 8 years due to the profuse sweating fevers etc. Also my husband lost his corporate job at 55 then went into a small business as a partner. He investigated it with lawyers etc but sadly his " partner " turned out to be a " master manipulator " and satan himself. My husband tried to hang on for 5 very difficult years primarily because we struggled to maintain a very expensive PPO which is a priority. We've gone through all life savings declared bankruptcy due to astronomical medical bills for " denied " treatment for longer term IV tx and for just " basic living " . We sold our last home, rented for 5 years now live with my 86 year old mother in the tiny house I grew up in. We are good responsible people who have bought and sold 5 homes mostly with corporate moves. Chronic illness and then job loss has forced us to ask for help for the first time in our lives. My husband continues to job search every day so needless to say our money is scarce. I am disabled on medicare my husband on medicaid. Still, I must buy the things you consider to be extremely important to this program. I look forward to hearing from you and to feeling better. I was in a slump but it's not my nature to give up. I credit God and for pulling me through so many terrible times of suffering and crisis. I am ready to " fight " again! Helen

Welcome to our group. You and your family have gone through a lot, and its great you found this group. Candida, any kind of bacteria, including Lyme's, or even cancer cannot be cured by " killing it off, " particularly with antibiotics which are toxic poisons to the body. Antibiotics simply " suppress " symptoms but they do not treat the cause. The only way they are cured isby building up the immune system, which is done by: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. When the immune system is strong enough it will automatically " make " candida (or any bug, cancer, etc.) change back into the organism it is supposed to be when the body is healthy. It's like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile representing the poor condition of the body. You cannot get rid of the manure pile by killing off the flies. You must clean up the manure pile instead, which means building up your immune system. That's why this program heals not just candida, but it is an overall healing program that puts you in charge of your health, the way Nature intended. Please ensure you read two important articles so you understand candida, and know what you need to do and why: 1) How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php 2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee
