Guest guest
Caitlin, My sympathies are with you at this sad time. The following has been a comfort for me, and I hope it will comfort you, too. Blessed be, Judith Alta Passing The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand, The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land, The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrain. . . Guest guest
Caitlin Am so sorry you lost your baby to the flu. I'll pray to God that you recover from your grief. But rest assured he is now in good hands free from all pains and continously receives his mother's love and more. Caitlin Lorraine Catilin, if you feel so inclined, please check out www.griefnet.org. They sponsor more than 40 different e-mail support groups for people grieving losses under various circumstances, and I know there are several groups for parents who've lost a child. I found them two years ago after my fiancee was murdered, and having that group of people who understood what I was going through (the grief-violence subgroup at griefnet) made all the difference in my own survival. It is a wonderful organization. It is free to join on a trial basis, then it's just $5 a month, which pays for the computers and gear used to run the organization, which is done all by volunteers. It was founded by a doctor or psychologist, I believe, who had suffered personal losses herself. Please check it out. Jeanmarie
Guest guest
Thank you everyone for all of your kind words and condolences, it is very touching. It is the hardest thing I have ever been called to go through to lose my precious three week old baby, but I know that God does all things for a reason. Having the faith that he is in heaven is a great comfort, since it is a far better place than I could give my little one. I still miss him ever so much, but God and lovely caring friends & family will bring us through this hard time. I thank you all for your sweet words of comfort, how blessed I must be to receive so much kindness though you have only known me a short while you still wish to comfort--it is touching beyond words. Guest guest
Oh Caitlin, that is truly heartbreaking! I just got back from a week in Germany = what a shock to find that message! There are no words which would not sound trite at a time like this but I just want you to know that thoughts and prayers have been with you from the moment I knew. Guest guest
Thank you, every prayer is always appreciated. I do not remember if I thanked you too Cyn, the candle was so sweet of you. Everyone has been so sweet, thank you all very much. It has been nice to be busy this week, keep my mind off of things. We had a very nice Christmas though, and our little girl had a good time. How was your trip to Germany? Oh Caitlin, that is truly heartbreaking! I just got back from a week in Germany = what a shock to find that message! Thank you so much, Tim and Mark, for your thoughts and prayers. My family and I don't live in London, and therefore were not directly affected physically. But it does rock one emotionally, of course! It vividly brought back the terrible day the twin-towers fell by the same force of wickedness. In the face of all this it is a privilege to be able to be an influence for good in this world, to belong to this list family which transgresses nationalities and creeds and are there to help one another .... In Kombucha God has given us such a good thing in this world to enjoy and to share with others, a healthy thing, a peaceful thing, through which we can make many wonderful friends. Let's be a blessing to someone today! Let's not be overcome by hatred but overcome hatred with love!
