Guest guest
Hi everyone, Does anyone know where I could find natural adhesive? I am going to need to have some medical tape on my skin for a while, and I'd like to use something natural cause whatever is in medical tape seems too toxic for me. I have no idea what ingredients they use and I wouldn't want to add to my toxic load, but I'm having problems finding anything like this online. Can I cook my own glue on all natural ingredients? There are some recipes online but they use sugar so that's not an option for me either.

I am not a doc, my email is our initials. , I too cannot handle the adhesive. They have something that is actually a silk. I have had c-sections and they have used this for me. It is the only thing that I have ever had adhesive/type wise that I have never reacted to. It is more natural. Docs aren't super fond of it because they think everything has to be super sticky. They worked great for me in a major surgery and lasted for a couple of days. Good luck and hope that this was helpful
Guest guest
You didn't say what part of your anatomy. If you are wrapping your hand or leg, for instance, you can overlap gauze then place the tape over it to hold the gauze in place. Guest guest
I could be mistaken, but I heard that most, if not all, adhesives have gluten in them. Perhaps you are sensitive to that? I believe that even a homemade glue would use flour in it as well. marla On Thu, Sep 24, 2009 at 11:47 AM, <elisabeteriksson@...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > > Does anyone know where I could find natural adhesive? I just mentioned it to others in the past years and they all seemed to know what I was asking for.
