Thank you so much. I will have her try that. Sometimes i can talk her out of

a seizure. It is strange, but she will usually get VERY mad at me when her

seizure is over.

I have recently started praying my heart out. I went to a religious school

up until 9th grade, and lost touch since. If there is ever a time to come back

to praying, this is definetly the time. I now leave my daughters health in

Gods hands. Prayer is powerful. Thank you for yours,

Have you had any e-mail or telephone contact with Dr. Donna s

from s-Reiter Epilepsy Center? Your daughter though young

sounds as if she may be a perfect candidate for Dr. s program.

I think age 8 is the youngest her and Dr. Reiter will take a patient.

When you have some time visit their website:

and send her an e-mail regarding your daughters case. Dr. s

will be able to help you determine if she would be a good candidate

for learning her " Driving The Brain " technique for seizure control.

SARAH,WHEN YOUR DAUGHTER GETS MAD, GIVE HER SOME LAVENDER AND/OR VALERIAN THEY

ARE GREAT HERBS THAT CALM DOWN THE NERVES.I JUST TELL PEOPLE WHAT HAS WORKED ON

ME. PLUS THEY HELP YOU SLEEP BETTER AND WHEN YOU DON'T GET ENOUGH REST THAT CAN

MAKE PEOPLE MOODY AND WHEN THAT HAPPENS IT CAN TRIGGER TO THE BRAIN AND CAUSE A

SEIZURE SO IT IS BEST THAT YOU KEEP YOUR DAUGHTER CALM BECAUSE THE MORE SHE GETS

MAD THE MORE SHE'S GOING TO HAVE SEIZURE.ANOTHER THING NOT TO DO IS ARGUE AROUND

HER THAT BRINGS THE STRESS LEVEL UP AND ALSO CAN CAUSE SEIZURES.I LIVED WITH IT

It would be quite a gamble and expense to try it with a's

comprehension challenge. I did not put my son in the program because

of his lack of emotional control and maturity at the time.
