Guest guest Report post Posted January 2, 2003 DMG is Dimethyl Glycine. It is formed from betaine in the metabolism of homocysteine to methionine and is a precursor of Glycine, a neuroinhibitory amino acid. A couple of quotes from different resources: " 100 mg three times a day, anecdotal evidence for decreasing AED requirements " " Dosage of 100 mg twice a day can produce a decrease in seizure activity " Of course, I'm sure anyone would do their own double checking and researching before trying any new supplement. Thanx for the responses to my post. Will continue to study and Go Slow! aloha, joanne
