Have you found a good counselor to go to along with taking the medication

for depression? Sometimes that can make all the difference in the world.

I make it a practice to always contact my neurologist before filling any

script from another doc. Of course I just realized recently that my

neurologist was a big jerk too............I'm so glad I'm being seen at the

University of PA epilepsy center now....finally people who know what they

are doing. I find alot of the neurologists out in the communities just

aren't up on the best and the latest things.

Hi Jeanne,

I had a really great counselor several years ago, but unfortunately she has

been diagnosed with breast cancer and is no longer seeing patients. The last

therapist I saw (I've seen 2) was strange. she would always tell me about

the patients that had just walked out of her office before I came in and she

loved to tell me her problems about her husband and mother-in-law. I was

kind of stuck because I was ordered to see a therapist by my neurologist,

but I couldn't drive do I had to find one in the building I worked in and

she was it. I only saw her for a few months.

Now that I don't have a car and a husband who works 14 hrs. a day it would

be practically impossible to see someone now. I'm going to start keeping a

journal though because I think a lot of these low feelings are right around

and during my cycle.

Thanks for you concern and hope you are having a great day, so far mine has

been pretty good.

Love,

Tricia

something else that helps...write what you're feeling

out, and dont edit it. if you can write, with out any

kind of inhibition, exactly whats going on in your

head, without worrying about how it sounds or who

might see it or blah blah blah...you can a lot of the

time go back and find your answers there.

i do it all the time. some of it turned out to

actually be good writing, and found its way online :)

my therapist aproves so i guess its a good thing to

do.

Chelating could be referred to as Clawing out a poisin in the body. Becuase

mercury attatches itself or affinity towards nerve cells, it tightly bonds

to them. By using DMSA (sulphar) it detatches the mercury out of the brain

and other body tissues.

Heavy metals may be ALL related to epilepsy if you are toxic on them.

they may be...but it isnt something most people with

seizure disorders are commonly informed about.

Yes they usually have a " gag rule " to anything they sell/vested interest,

like vaccines, flouride, amalgalms....trully the disgusting side of the AMA

and ADA.

Tricia,

You wrote me before I went on my trip and I was not able to get back to

you. My apologies. I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time, though

keeping a journal may be a means to hold on to your sanity. The kind of

therapy that worked so well for me was the reframing approach developed by

Milton kson. If you like I can send you some information about him.

There are things you may be able to do on your own, even though you are not

driving now/ Do you live where you have bus serivice?
