Performance Hyperbarics shut down / Flexi UltraLite Chamber Recall

It seems that the FDA has succeeded in shutting down one of the poachers out

there. But the bugs are scrambling…

Per the warning letter issued in Sept 2009, the Flexi-UltraLite (Single Bag

Chamber) was cited for not having FDA Clearance (namely it did not have the

testing data to prove its safety). As a result, Spencer Feldman/Performance

Hyperbarics has stopped selling the Flexi-UltraLite and now even Spencer Feldman

has said " I don't feel the single bag chamber is safe enough, I am not

comfortable selling it " . Spencer has gone so far as changing out some single

bag chambers by swapping them for the FlexiLite (Double Bag Chamber). However,

they have not announced a formal recall on the product.

So now that the FDA AND the owner of Performance Hyperbarics both agree that the

Flexi-UltraLite chamber is unsafe, the chamber is now off the market. However,

there remains one problem… There are hundreds of these chambers out there that

have already been sold. Performance Hyperbarics and Pressure-Tech, Inc. now

have the burden/liability of having to recall those chamber and either swap them

out for the more expensive Flexi-Lite chamber or refund the money to the

consumers. If there are a mere 100 chambers out there, at an average cost of

$10,000 we are looking at $1,000,000 in liability that the company has.

But, since they planned for a back door escape all along, Spencer Feldman and

Betts had created a scheme in case something like this was to ever

happen. The formed a company in Panama with bank accounts in Cypress and now

that they have been caught they are scrambling to execute on their back door

escape.

Performance Hyperbarics Inc. is no longer there. The officers have been

changed from Spencer Feldman and Corrine Feldman to some random Panamanian

names. The old website www.performancehyperbarics.com is a deal link.

However, they have recently re-registered in Panama as Performance Hyperbarics

International Inc. and oddly enough, the officers are the same as the original

company only they officers are shuffled around (president is now the treasurer

and treasurer is the secretary…). Their new web-site is

www.performance-hyperbarics.com and in the `Contact Us' page, they list the

Panama address.

So the rats are on the run, trying to hide in this hole or that hole, but what

they don't realize is that all their moves are transparent. The government sees

all these moves and it only makes them that much more angry. Even Bill Duncan,

the smooth talking politician cannot save the day. If you recall, Duncan was

the one defending the `foreign company setup' stating that it is normal business

practice. So for the record Dr Duncan, it is NOT normal. These guys are crooks

and you aided and abetted them!

IF YOU OWN A SIGLE BAG PERFORMANCE HYPERBARIC CHAMBER (FLEXI-ULTRALITE), YOU

SHOULD CALL GET IT SWAPPED OUT TO A DOUBLE-BAG (FLEXI-LITE) or GET A REFUND!
