RE: HBOT Study Results from Autism One 2008 Conference in Chicago

For those of you who were unable to attend the recent Autism One

2008 conference in Chicago, these are the results of Dr. Rossignol's

presentation. According to his research, 80% of autistic children

respond favorably to mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy at 1.3 ATA.

Mild HBOT resulted in:

• Increased cerebral perfusion (blood flow)

• Increased immune function

• Increased mitochondrial function

• Increased stem cells

• Decreased neuroinflammation

• Decreased GI inflammation

• Decreased oxidative stress

• Decreased neurotransmitter abnormalities

• Decreased dysbiosis (microbal imbalances)

Dr. Rossignol recommends that children begin with 40 sessions of

mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy at 1.3 ATA, with no fewer than 4

sessions per week. He states that some children will need in excess

of 80 sessions for optimal results.
