Hi,

Doc C. was only ASKING for feedback, I believe, & I took the 2 out 2

comment as humor. I am SO glad Doc.C. is onboard. He not only offers

information, but ASKS for advice and LISTENS to us. For that he has

earned respect. And if we disagree with him, it should be with respect. I

do not understand the dissention among CFIDS people; perhaps it is the

frustration at having serious illness and having no answers. But why diss

the doc who is offering support? Especially when he is asking our opinion?

How many doctors do that, for heavens sake? Lincoln had it right: a house

divided against itself is destined to fall. We are all in this illness

together, so please let's work together.

Amen Christie

I felt he was trying to help too. He was very up to date on alot of things

and acted really interested. Did he ever act like he was trying to make

money off us?? I didn't feel like he was,but maybe I missed something

somewhere or maybe I didn't pick up on something.. I have dated and worked

with doctors....years ago!!...... and they often times are misunderstood..

They are tired and overworked and get mixed up... Maybe Dr C didn't mean

what you thought or something along those lines.

Gail,I know you want to protect us from any vultures etc,so I am not against

you or anything for banning Dr C...You did what you felt was right. I was

just baffled and upset about banning DR C from posting anymore...I thought I

must have missed something somewhere. I appreciate all your input and info

too. You are also very helpful to all of us. What exactly was it that he

did or said....I am confused.

Greetings to the list,

I agree with everyone posting about uniting in our support for folks on

this list in crisis. I believe we can support , or any other

individual in need, without undercutting the efforts of a particular

group or making personal judgments. The confusion created with various

funds and accounts, personal challenges, and old vendettas is creating

an atmosphere of distrust that I don't think represents the goals of

this list, nor does it well serve the people in need of our help.

I for one, do not appreciate being goaded, challenged, or prodded into

giving assistance. The information on how we can assist in enough.

In hopes of some unity on this list, and blessings to all on the list

for Thanksgiving,

Lucinda
