I just wanted to let you all know,  Katy passed away this morning. She no

longer has limitations or pain. Darin would like to thank all of you that have

followed their fight and those of you that have been so involved.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the

Foundation, started by Tammy Carrington, which provides funds for children who

can't afford HBOT for neurologic conditions. e is going to send the

address and contact info for the Foundation and I will post it as soon as I

receive it.

Though I never had the chance to speak with Darin, I heard of great praise for

him from e during a phone conversation. I am very sorry for the loss Katy

and I will keep their family in prayer.

Dear Darin and Janie,

Your hearts are heavy now and you and Katy touched all of us very deeply.

But never forget that your beloved Katy is home now, and she truly completed the
