I would venture to say that the HBOT environment is much like any environment in which you suddenly introduce many children (such as school). They all bring their own germs to the table and swap. It's very common for children to get sick when they travel outside of the normal environments and circumstances. They build immunities against germs and bacterias that are generally passed around a family unit but when a foreign one is introduced, that is when the illness sets in. So, I guess what I am saying is that I would be hesitant to say that it is strictly the Ability Camp that has this happen. mommy to , & Spencer, wife to Mike, friend to Jeannie and supplier of kitchen tools and good cheer to ALL! Guest guest
I do ot thik it is just Ability Camp. I am sure it is worse, by the fact that everyone stays there which makes it more affordable. Our experience has been possitive and I plan to return. I just think people need to be aware and prepared. I have not gone any where else because They are the most affordable. I am ot tryig to say anything bad about Ability Camp, just passing on info.

In other situations, people would just be together for a couple of hours per day during sessions but there, it is an around the clock type of thing due to the accomadations. You may be onto something here. Unfortunately, you are right, that *is* what makes it affordable. I am stocking up on Vitaballs and decongestant before we go. has bad allergies and always seems to be sniffling over something. 99% of the time, that something is pine pollen. And since we live on Lake O The PINES it is quite abundant. My youngest turned up with a fever yesterday so I am taking them both in today so we can get rid of that and also have Nick checked out before we take off on Sunday. I am just praying that he makes it through this well and we don't end up missing half of our sessions! mommy to , & Spencer, wife to Mike, friend to Jeannie and supplier of kitchen tools and good cheer to ALL! Guest guest
I put my son on both garlic and echinacea it seems to help, also use lots of spray lysol and I keep our dishes in our room. Please do not think I am saying bad things about Ability Camp. I just am warning you and a few precausions we do not use in our everyday lives might really help keep your son health and maximize his experiece. Keep us posted I plan to return in June ad Dec. I wish I could of done the March special, but with three other kids I just could not swing it.

I appreciate you sharing your experience and the good ideas you are giving me. In fact, I just added spray lysol and our own dishes to my list of things to pick up today About the garlic and echinacea...is that in pill form? If so, how old is your child? My 4 year old cannot swallow pills so I am wondering if this is an option for us. We are planning another trip in September for C.E. & HBOT (do you do both?) and I would like to go again in December but that is going to require more fundraising mommy to , & Spencer, wife to Mike, friend to Jeannie and supplier of kitchen tools and good cheer to ALL! Guest guest
Echinacea is liquid and The garlic was a pill, but you might find something else. My son is almost three. I think the conductive education is great, but my son is moblile just hemiplegic and developemetally delayed. He has shaken baby syndrome. We have never done Conductive, but I would if I thought it would help him.
