Guest guest
Dear Winnie: THere are many screening tests that can tell if something is prescribed or " illegal " . What he probable should have done was notify the person who is filling out the paperwork, and make sure they make a notation of it. I was also get a note from his physician/provider, stating that he on PRESCRIBED Medications, and give it to his parole officer, and make sure they do add it. The " drug screens " are very basic, and, most times this is enough, But, besides the HCV Meds, I would place something with the physician's note, and if there are any questions, his " parole officer " can run some extra, and more specific testing. Lets face it, as long as he is forward and honest about his situation, with the correct backup paper, it would signal more detail testing to make sure he has not taken anything. But, lets face facts. The medication probaly will not show up anything, but, if he is meeting all his requirements, it would be wise to tell ahead of time. That at least lets everyone know that he is on a prescribed medication, and since their concern is " illegal substances " , if positive for anything, they can check other aspects and determine if this is an " illgal substance " , or a prescribed med. That is better than going to jail for a night while gathering these materials. Marty
Guest guest
I don't know. I take ginko, billberry, glucosamine sulfate, saw palmetto, arginine, potassium, selenium, chromium, magnesium, calcium, 3-6g Vit C, 3-6g Lisine, colloidal silver, flaxseed and oil, gymnema, nettle root, an ACE inhibitor, plus a multi vitamin/mineral supplement. I have not had any reaction at all when I zap for an hour a day. Maybe I am doing some harm that I don't recognize, but it seems like with all the junk I take that something would happen. My question is, has there been any lab or clinical tests to show any damage to anything? I mean, if it increases the effect of herbs to such a degree, shouldn't it be easy to prove with a simple blood test, or something? There has to be tests available that will prove the effectiveness of zapping, or the danger of zapping, after taking herbs. These claims, good or bad, could be proven, if anyone was interested. Why do we have to depend on testimonials alone? " Feeling good " , is important, but just a change of attitude can affect the way we feel, and the placebo effect " works " , but I would hope that zapping had a " real " effect. If you zap and you feel better, or even overcome some ailment, its no proof that the electricity did anything. Maybe you would have felt better or gotten well anyway. Many people do without zapping. What we need are conclusive lab tests or clinical trials. This shouldn't be too difficult, too expensive, or too much to ask, should it? I have built two zappers, and bought another one, and I would like to believe they really do work as proponents claim, but by now, shouldn't we expect to have more to put our trust in than unsupported claims and testimonials? Thanks for the ear. > Many people do confuse other gizmos with Becks. > Transfection (misnomered electroporation by Beck. see http://www.ioa.com/~dragonfly/questions.html ) always happens but whether or not someone feels the results is dependent on what was in their bloodstream and how sensitive they are. Most people nowadays are pretty desensitized and do all kinds of horrible things to their bodies without realizing the harm they are doing. Then they're surprised when they wind up in the hospital. Guest guest
While the insurance companies may be the largest lobbying group in the TDI, even their own representative testified that the testimony provided in the original hearing was overwhelmingly supportive of HBOT in neurology and while he was obligated by his employers to vote against the bill, he could not in good faith say he was personally against it. I thought his testimony was most compelling since he was an attorney for the insurance companies. And it should be noted that he was the only person against the bill at the entire hearing (Lon, correct me if I am wrong). The insurance companies are big but they wouldn't be in business if it weren't for the people they serve. Therefore, each insurance company is smaller than the patient base served. I am quite confident that with the support of the families already aware of this and the future patients that this law will serve, HBOT will be recognized and paid for under fair guidelines (soon to be determined). Dr. Harch and I are working to help with these rules for implementation and will do everything within our power to make sure this law is enacted to benefit the patients that need it. Sincerely, R. Guest guest
Hi My understanding of going under the ribs is that the diaphragm gets"stuck" and this is to release it. People do not like this (have someone do it to you) I find if you start and hold the achilles tendon a little till it loosens a bit (this can calm the body and take off fight /flight) then place the flat of your hand evenly on the rib cage then edge in below. Make sure as the initiator you are breathing. If you can teach belly breathing it helps. Also I discovered when I was in Poland at the camp that if I used a pitch pipe to "G" that it tended to soften tendons. Also a low even hum calmed some autistic behaviour while I was workingJOY Daphne wrote: There are 6 messages in this issue.Topics in this digest:1. Re: Re: Svetlana Vs ABR?From: "Yonie Yohaini" 2. You mentioned that Svetlana use exercise to expand the diaphram & the breathing. When she saw my daughter, she does not explain the benefit or the purpose of each exercise. One of the exersice given is to press/push go deep and hold for 10-15sec under the ribs. Is that the excersice for the diaphram & breathing?!My daughter is difficult to work with & very resistant. I hv difficulties to do that exersice with her. She will hold her breathing as long as I push. This makes it difficult to go deep. Any suggestion !Thanks in advance!Yonie Svetlana Vs ABR?> > > Val,> > I understand that you are doin ABR Therapy to your> child.( I hope i'm not wrong, or anybody else out> there!)
