i know about the diabetics haveing a hard time healing

now yalls kids have a hard time healling also?

melissa hasnt had a boo boo lately but i will keep a eye on it if she does

we dont allow her to have ear rings or make up lololol

but the parents with girls i have a question

did yalls girls have something called hesions?

this was a big problem with melissa shes had to be opened

10 times before she finally stayed open

no one in my family could understand this and why

Kelsey doesn't seem to have a hard time healing, but she does bruise alot

easier than she used to. I think that's due to the Naprosyn, not necessarily

the jra...correct me if I'm wrong! I've never heard of hesions, so I guess

its safe to assume we haven't had that problem? Nothing wrong with not

letting wear makeup yet, my parents let me wear very light makeup

when I was in 8th grade (I guess I was 13), and believe me, if it was

anything but light, I had to wash it off! No need in growing up too fast,

besides natural beauty is much better )

is on naprosyn too. She doesn't have any troble with scarring

but she does bruise easily. So far no trouble with her stomach either. The

rheumy just increased the dosage by 1 cc due to her growing. We hope to start

weaning off in the spring. has reached a medicated control of the JRA.

ok this sounds like it what my melissa had

its a thin skin that grows over the private part

i let it go 1 time and almost caused a infection

the doctor explained to me that if she grew up there

the urine could cause that so i started keeping a eye on it

they gave her a estrogen cream

but her face has cleared up great

I'm not sure if makeup can cause acne, but I know it doesn't help. I went to

a dermatologist when I was a teenager because I had acne prone skin. He told

me to use Dove soap or Neutrogena, which I still use, and gave me a

prescription for a topical antibiotic to use at night. Thank goodness I

finally grew out of that ) Also, I always use oil free makeup. Hope this

helps a little.

yes, absolutely do have a hard time healing, especially without infection.

i tripped and rammed the front bone in my legs into my new steps. they are

farther apart than my old ones and i wasnt used to them yet. those bones

stayes brusied for over a month. brandy ps, i have blonde hair and

hazel/green eyes. i have always been pretty pale and cannot tolerate long

sun exposure, love sunblock. i dont just burn, i get sun poison.

hi michelle, i wore make up then too, now i have a problem, i cant seem to

stop getting pink eye. cant you give that back to yourself if you dont get

a new eye liner after youve had it? i havent even used that eye liner and

my eyes are bothering me again! i dont know whats going on, i know i have

had pink eye 3 times b4 now just this year. but you can catch it thru make

up right? thanks, brandy

lololol a thin skin grows over the vagina

i was trying not to get so into it but

lolol its embaressing since some dads are on this email group

lolol i didnt know anything about it til melissa was born

but the skin will grow over the vagina closeing it off

the doctors then take a swab and sometimes a blade and open it back up

but she had this 8 times they gave me estrogen cream to stop this but

the side effects of the cream scared me

but right now shes doing ok

pink eye is a infection

like a cold you can recatch it if you dont throw away

the things you have came in contact for like anything used around the eyes

tear drops also

throw away all of it then restart again

but also SEE your eye doctor since you have JRA you need to

like useing others make up you can catch anything

the eye doctor may need to see exactly if its a allergic reaction also

A friend of mine has a little girl who had the same problem. I thought this

is what you meant, but like you I was (embarrassed) thinking of the dads! LOL

My friend's daughter had to be treated several times also, and she used the

cream. She's only 7, and she's fine now.

I've used Retin A also, it works great but it dried my skin out really bad.

That's when the doctor gave me a topical antibiotic. Be careful with acne

medications in the sun, too...can increase risk of sunburn. I'm certainly

not a dermatologist, but speaking from experience I think, without a

prescription, the best thing to use is the Dove or Neutrogena soap to wash,

and maybe use a mild astringent at night to help get rid of any excess dirt,

oil or makeup. Keeping the pores clean is the best thing. There are lots of

creams you can buy, like Clearasil, but they didn't work much for me when I

was battling puberty! LOL And to think I have 2 girls to raise...Lord help

me! LOL

hi robbin, i will but will have to wait til wed, appt with the co i bought

my house from tomorrow, no fun. anyway, tonite i tried those clear eyes

drops and it looked better, itd be weird i suddenly became allergic to

something at this age, im 23, youd think i would have been allergic before.

It can ifthe face isn't washed. Try Tea Tree Oil if you have acne. It clears

it up. It is a natural antiseptic. My kids ( all teens) use it.
