Thanks for the great ideas.  I passed by most of the crap today, went sledding

and did a ton of sit ups.  If I can't get to the gym tomorrow I'll do stairs and

jump rope. --Kellie

Any chance you have stairs in your home. Running stairs burns 9 cals a minute. I

do that when I can't get to the gym. I work with 5 minutes at a time.

With all this snow I can't get down to the gym.  My mom and Granny have been in

the kitchen making goodies for the past couple days.  I have taken the kids

sledding but I'm not getting my cardio up.  I just started loosing weight again

and am frustrated I'm stuck here with all this crap around me.  My family is all

heavy and they all supposedly support me and my husband but I am not strong

enough to resist chocolate!!! !  It is soooooo frustrating! !!!  I'd love any

ideas, but mostly thank you for letting me vent!!!!  Kellie

I found out today that at my weight, one hour of shoveling snow burns

780 calories. I've shoveled 6 hours this week...

Great to hear Sue.

You say exercise has helped you. Just want to clarify that.   could it maybe

be other non exercise treatments (anti virals, ect)  have helped so you now

have a mild form of me/cfs and now you are  better  able to tolerate

exercise?  I only say that as most if not all with moderate to severe me/cfs

cant do much exercise let alone 1.5 hrs of exercise 3-4x/week.  That is a lot

of exercise!

Happy to hear you are doing better.

cheers

Hi All . .actually all exercise has helped me . .I take Valtrex for viruses, too

though . .  I am tolerating cycling, dancing, walking, stretching and weight

lifting 3 to 4 days a week . . .1 1/2 hour minimum sessions, No cortef is needed

any longer just thyroid meds  . . been doing this for over a year now . .if I

do more I will crash  . . but almost anyone would crash except training

atheletes with that much. Took me a couple of years to build up to that.

Needed iron and all b vitamins along with lots of protien, too

There is lots of hope for exercise and CFS

Best wishes,

Yes . .I do believe the exercise eventually helps directly . .my muscles and

tendons are so much stronger, brain fog and circulation is better, pain in

muscles and joints is gone . . .exercise is great for anyone who can tolerate it

.. .but you must figure out how to get to that place . .again mainly antivirals

for as of now. . .Remember I was on the Methylation program for 3 years and took

tons of supps and iron, too! Must support thyroid if needed.

Sue, I'm interested in how you got so much better. I miss exercise

too. Did you do the Methylation program first and then the

anti-virals, or the other way around--or both at the same time?

Hi Adam,

I recommend mild exercises which do not take energy and resources away from the

body that it needs to heal and detoxify itself, i.e. dry skin brushing or

rebounding on a mini trampoline or simply walking, which are enough to move the

lymphatic system.

This program, with its high good fats, is all you need to get rid of toxic

buildup anywhere. Your body will get rid of them when it is ready, so have

patience.

The combination of fats are the very best antioxidants in the Whole World! Of

course all nutrients work together, like I always say.

Cheers, Bee

+++Hi Caine. If you feel okay some exercise like that probably wouldn't hurt

you.

+++No, since it isn't necessary to take more. Your body will flush when it is

ready.

Hi Bee,

Ok i will do those minor push ups etc.

The niacin are so hard to get cut 50/50, usually its like 70/30 split,

that's why i asked if 100mg was ok. I thought you previously recommended

to a member if he/she couldn't tolerate the flush from 100mg then they

could split then in half. If it is safe to take 100mg, i would prefer to

do that rather than taking 30mg one time then 70mg the next due to not

getting an even split when i try to cut them in half. I have a whole

bunch cut now with very few 50/50 cut's, and way more uneven cut's. I

just wanna be consistent/exact with the program.

Thanks...... Your friend Caine.......

@@ Hi Caine,

I have been doing 100mg twice a day for awhile without any issues and it is an

acceptable dosage within the parameters of the diet program and supplements

recommended.

Therefore, if you feel you can handle the flush at 100mg twice a day, then go

ahead. However, go no higher.

Hi Ed,

Ok that sounds good. I actually tried 100mg this morning and only got a

very small flush which was very tolerable. I will not go any higher.

Thanks so much..... Caine.....
