Guest guest
I wanted to mention again that i am now on ARMOUR THYROID onehalf gram 30 mg. I dont know if it is working for sure, but i seem to be sleeping somewhat better and staying awake during the day which is a BIG CHANGE. *****want to mention something extremely important: I am not making sure that i TAKE MY THYROID FIRST THING WHEN I GET UP, NO FOOD OR OTHER MEDS. I WAIT AT LEAST ANOTHER 2 HOURS BEFORE I TAKE MY OTHER MEDS OR EAT ANYTHING AT ALL!!************* ALTHOUGH MY PHYSICAL ENERGY ISNT REALLY BACK, i have started WANTING TO CLEAN MY ROOM. 13 yr old grand daughter came over, and i directed her to take stuff out of my closet. As I sat on my bed most of the time, she did as i showed her. I did get up and cleaned off the top of my armour (big job), used the little vac on my carpet, and did tons of sorting and organizing while sitting on my bed. Does that count as improvement? I REALLY WANT TO CLEAN OFF THE COUNTER IN MY BATHROOM. I keep looking at it when i go in there, and ugh!, it is awful. i need ideas on how to store all that stuff and still be able to get to it when i need it. (my " bender " doesnt work well at all.) My effexor was also changed about a month so maybe that explains it. I am now on 150 ER once per day, so not a big jump. Vitamin D script still at 50,000 once per week. lisinopril (bp meds) still at 10 mg neurontin still at 600 mg 3 times a day, but i rarely take it more than twice if that. singulair pill is 10 mg and all inhalers still the same for the COPD zyrtec still 10 mg nitro still the same At 64, i am not having " hot flashes " , but have had a terrible time with FEELING VERYVERY HOT,, BUT **COLD SWEAT** WHEN SKIN TOUCHED. NONE OF THE DOCS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THIS. ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED. HAVE ACTUALLLY PASSED OUT WHEN THIS HAS HAPPENED..SEVERAL TIMES. thanks again, kajern
Guest guest
I cannot believe that docs don't read the side effects on meds they prescribe. I would be willing to bet you that your SSRI med - Effexor is causing the intense internal heat - hot enough to pass out. I too had this from SSRI's and it may well be the beginning of Sertonin sickness. See this site:http://www.drugs.com/sfx/effexor-side-effects.html " * " Incidence in Controlled Trials* *Commonly Observed Adverse Events in Controlled Clinical Trials* The most commonly observed adverse events associated with the use of Effexor ® (incidence of 5% or greater) and not seen at an equivalent incidence among placebo-treated patients (ie, incidence for Effexor at least twice that for placebo), derived from the 1% incidence table below, were asthenia, sweating, nausea, constipation, anorexia, vomiting, somnolence, dry mouth, dizziness, nervousness, anxiety, tremor, and blurred vision as well as abnormal ejaculation/orgasm and impotence in men. " Read more: http://www.drugs.com/sfx/effexor-side-effects.html#ixzz10bPbeSGq Also see info on Serotonin sickness at this site: http://depression.about.com/od/depressionmedication1/p/serotonin.htm Hope something here helps....... Guest guest
Go to our FILES section of this forum . Open the folder entitled 'All Natural Thyroid Extract' and there you will see a file entitled 'how to Use Natural Thyroid Extract' and all the information you need should be in there. Luv - Sheila Hi all I have now started taking my armour thyroid 1g (need to do this for 2 weeks) (1 week so far) and I just wanted to check if there was a good time to actually take it? What should I actually feel too? I think I feel more energy, but not sure how long it takes to get full benefits? Thanks in advance
