Guest guest
Hi Bee and all, I have a question about avocado. Since I found it as a good fat, and include as a category of allowable food in healingnaturallybybee website - Foods with 6% Carbohydrates and Less. My question then, is it Ok if I have an avocado juice – mix with stevia as an Indulgent? I like the creamy taste of avocado.  Many thanks, Dewi

Yes, that would be okay, but do not overdo it, since some candida sufferers don't do well if they have more than 1/2 of an avocado per day. All carbs feed candida (carbs are any and all foods that aren't classified as protein or fat). However, it is impractical to eliminate all carbs from your diet. I only added avocados to the list of acceptable foods this year. When I had candida I couldn't tolerate more than 1/2 of an avocado without it causing more symptoms that indicated it was feeding candida. Guest guest
Hi Bee, Since die off symptoms are the same as overgrowth, how can one tell the difference? My husband is becoming more faithful to the diet because of the results he is noticing and I give him a whole avocado in his lunch every day. I don't want to cause him any overgrowth unknowingly.
