Egg Drink

I still have not been able to do the egg drink except one time for

fear of consuming raw eggs. I know they are supposed to be safe and I

read the article, but still scared. Anyway, if you pour the boiling

water over the egg and cook it a little more will it still be

drinkable? And do you recommend organic eggs that haven't been

pasturized, like from a local farmer? Or is store bought organic

pasturized good enough?

I've eaten raw eggs for over 20 years and never got sick on them.

It is me again.....So I tried to drink it. OMG! It is delicious!!!! I

am proud of my self that I've tried to do that!! But it was worth it!!!

But......There was a small problem.....My heart started beating

faster, even though I drunk it really slowly (It took me 1 hour to

finish it, cause I do that when I enjoy something).

Last year I was intolerant in egg yolks. About a month ago I started

re introducing yolks, and things seemed to be ok as long as I wouldn't

eat too many (I was experimenting with eating 1 egg yolk each day - it

seemed to be ok).

Should I stop the egg drink? I know (from what I read) that we are not

supposed to eat anything that we are intolerant to.

+++Hi there. What is your name please? You definitely won't even know

the eggs are raw in Bee's Egg Drink! However, if you leave the boiling

water in the mixture long enough before blending it, the eggs will cook.

Eating raw egg yolk, that is runny and not cooked, means it will

provide more benefits. Also, you can poach eggs and use them in the

drink.

+++Hi Marisa. It is normal for the heart to beat more due to the

coconut oil, which increases thyroid function. Also one of the

healing reactions is a racing heart, which isn't dangerous at all,

and it will occur less and less as you continue.

+++I haven't said you shouldn't eat anything you are intolerant of.

To the contrary, you should eat good unadulterated foods, which may

cause healing reactions (a good thing), but start with small amounts

and gradually increase them so your healing reactions are tolerable,

+++You could start with 1 egg yolk and less of the other ingredients

in the Egg Drink, and gradually increase the eggs and ingredients

accordingly. The drink is totally adjustable.

I am eating collards, greenbeans, broccoli, cucumbers, jicama and tomatoes as my

vegetables (all fresh or frozen with no additives). I cook only with bacon

drippings, coconut oil, and butter. I try to top my veggies and meats with

butter. I take cod liver oil. Umm...I can't think of anything that will be

amiss. I do use chicken breast fillets because I don't like the texture of

thighs. But I am careful to add fats to it. I use fatty cuts of beef. I don't

know any other way to get more fat besides just eating it by the spoonful.

But are you getting the correct ratio of good saturated fats? Are you

eating/drinking roughly 3-4 times as many grams of fat as you are eating carbs?

Even if you're eating *allowed* carbs, you will feel the hunger if you're not

eating the recommended amount of fat. Your body needs to switch over to using

good saturated fats for energy, instead of carbs.

Are you up to 6 tbsp per day of coconut oil? Are you using the www.fitday.com

website to calculate your ratios daily so you know for sure if you're getting

enough fat daily?

Iuse nutritiondata.com to track my foods. I am getting at least 160g of fat.

My carb intake is supposed to be 45 but I eat less than that.
