Guest guest
Hi All! Well, there seems to be something in the air!! We too have graduated! Hunter is 16 ½ months old and he has been wearing the DOC Band since he was 10 months old. It has been a very long road (4 ½ hours one-way!) but well worth it! Although his head is not perfect and his ears are still off a little, I look at his "headsicle" and I'm amazed at how much change there has been. I want to thank CT for their web-site, because of their information I was able to find a doctor that knew about plagio and of course, this group! I want to thank Mr. Bob Cook from The Woodlands (our Ortho). He is a wonderful man who truly cares for the children he is treating. He always made us feel special, there were times when my in-laws took Hunter to his appointment and Mr. Bob would always call me at work to talk to me personally about Hunter, his progress and any concerns I may have! Finally I want to thank all of you, this journey would have been a lot harder without all the support from this group. I also wanted you to know that Aetna finally paid for our 2nd band (that we got at Christmas). I was a little concerned about whether or not they would pay since Hunter was 13 months old when we got it but I guess since it was continuing treatment (and he still met the measurement requirements) it was covered. Finally, do we have any tax experts out there? I need some information on the "Nanny Tax"........
