Guest guest
Hi Ivan. Welcome to our group. Even if you do not have candida this program will help improve your health. That's why I set up my website and called it Healing Naturally by Bee. After 4 years of owning this group I found people were curing many problems miraculously! My own ulcers, acid reflux, hiatal hernia were healed on this program too, and many others have experienced the same. Here's a Success Story that might encourage you: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/ss2a.php The best to you, Bee > > Hi Bee/All, > > I am relatively new to the group but not new to the topic of Candida > and systemic yeast. I do intend on following your system as I have read a lot of success stories which are encouraging. Just a couple of questions. Is it unlikely to have a systemic yeast problem without a weakened immune system? I work full time and because I can't bring leftovers to work or microwave food it's difficult to follow the system strictly. Everything seems to be asian or sandwich shops wherever you go. I mostly eat some form of roast meat and steamed veges (broccoli) from a carvery. Do you or anyone have any ideas on how to combine full time work with the diet? Thanks Ivan

That would be impossible, because a healthy immune system keeps candida " in check, " i.e. in its normal state, which is round and not growing hypae (long feet) and which is a friendly inhabitant in the mucus membranes. That's why candida isn't cured by " killing it off. " It is only cured by building up the immune system so it becomes strong enough to " make " candida " change back " to the friendly organism it is supposed to be in the body. > > I work full time and because I can't bring leftovers to work or > microwave food it's difficult to follow the system strictly. > Everything seems to be asian or sandwich shops wherever you go. Try " lunches " " lunch. " You can buy an inexpensive one burner hot plate to keep at work, or take hot foods in a good thermos. A toaster oven is good too; they can be picked up at garage sales. Guest guest
I work am away from home from 7:30am until usually 10pm. I got used to eating my home cooked meals at room temp. Why does quinoa and veggies or chicken and.... have to be warm? It's nice indeed but I think it's also a comfort thing that can be overcome just like us having to give up sugars. I bring at least 2 meals to work daily when I have to be strictly on the diet....

I bought a Thermos yesterday and will start to bring things in that. Any good suggestions of things to bring would be appreciated. Also I had been drinking the whole egg drink in the morning in one go (I never realised people had it over the day haha). Ivan

Ivan Ivan, you could stew or fry a whole pkg of chicken, breasts or legs, whatever pieces you like. Then wrap each piece individually & freeze. Grab a couple pieces each morning & take to work. They'll defrost maybe by lunchtime. Take a whole tomato too. Susie

I usually bring one egg drink with extra butter in it in a thermos (I also use only one cup of hot water, this makes it extra thick and creamy). I also bring sea salt and a lemon to make my electrolyte drink. Then I bring one to two containers of beef chili/chicken breasts with red pepper sauce/stuffed bell peppers/etc..... also some veggies sauteed in butter. An avocado or a tomato with sea salt and lemon juice is a good quick snack, as are hard boiled eggs with sea salt and fresh pepper. I eat my food at room temp, I don't use a microwave ever. All the recipes are on Bee's site. Best! Marissa

But some candida sufferers are not as sensitive to mold, while others are extremely sensitive. Leftovers even for mold sensitive people are okay in the fridge for 2 days. Thanks. I'm going to give this program a 100% effort. Previously before finding this place I made the mistake of still drinking Diet Coke occasionally and eating nuts and seeds and many bad vegetables like carrots. I've wasted a year but even that change has helped. Thanks all. Ivan
Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just wanted to share some info with everybody which may be helpful. I followed Bee's plan and got better whilst on the diet etc. A month ago I went away and circumstances arose where I ended up breaking my diet. To my surprise I was fine after eating pizza. For some reason I couldn't stop there and continued on other stuff I shouldn't have had for weeks. Then eventually small signs appeared of things going wrong again (numb face, difficulty waking up) which usually happens before the bloating and heartburn return. I have been working with an allergy specialist who is very open to things I have learnt here who suggested I try getting Vitamin B12 injections. After my first shot the following day I woke up well. The day after that the facial numbness went away. On new years eve I must have had 10 cakes and some alcohol (I can be my own worst enemy when it comes to helping my self heal) but so far I'm well. I've had some return of the facial numbness but after another injection it goes away. Apparently b12 can assist with Increase energy levels Improve sleep Reduce stress Enhance growth and repair of all cells Aid in metabolism of carbohydrates and fats Improve protein synthesis Improve immune function Increase mental alertness Possibly my problem has been problems absorbing B12 (maybe a result of PPI medication). I've just ordered some Methylcobalamin which is the type of B12 my doctor suggested which I'll have when he returns from Xmas holidays. So far I've had Cyanocobalamin which cost me 15 dollars for three shots and any GP can inject it. I'll keep you all posted on experiences over the next few months. Best wishes to all and happy new year.
Guest guest
Could it also be that your candida is growing back and the B12 is just masking it. I also strayed off of the diet and all of my symptoms came back full force. It started with me eating two french fries and did well and from there it went on. Finally one day it just hit me like a ton of bricks. Are you back on the diet? Phyllis > > Hi everyone, > > Just wanted to share some info with everybody which may be helpful. Guest guest
Hi Phylis Personally I came to the conclusion that candida was not my problem. I knew the diet was helping me but it didn't necessarily mean that candida was the cause. As a test I decided to eat vast amounts of garic one day to see what would happen. I ate 5 cloves of garlic and did not experience any sever die off. This would be impossible if my problem was candida. My current thinking is that my liver wasn't producing sufficient bile and enzymes which caused undigested food to ferment in my gut. Some candida may have overgrown as a result but as I said earlier in this thread I have a strong immune system so I never felt I was overrun by candida. Bee's program definitely helped my digestion and the minerals from bone broths and eggs and the supplements etc. was very helpful but in my case candida was not the root cause. I'm still doing fine. I've eaten so many things I previously couldn't so I am enjoying some success. I still don't allow myself to totally stray from the high protein and good fat diet though. Anyhow just some info for everyones consideration. Ivan > > Could it also be that your candida is growing back and the B12 is just > masking it. Unfortunately the B12 probably was masking some of the candida symptoms. I'm back on Bee's system which I'm going to keep following (I guess I was in denial and hoping there would be an easy way out). Anyhow I feeling quite positive (the vitamins seem to do wonders with mood - even when I'm in pain!) so hopefully some time in the future I can happily report my success. Best of luck to all.
