Amy,

WOW!!! What a great ped appointment! I am so glad that the ped could see the

correction and that it made you feel better. Really, that is such good news.

I hope you will let us know what the neuro says on Wednesday. It sounds like

you have a good ped - do you like him?

Anyways - thanks for the good news - that will give my day a lift!

Amy:

This is so great! You said it exactly right, sometimes someone who hasn't seen baby in a while is the best person to judge. After all, you see him (and examine him!) every day. It's so hard to see tiny changes every day, that add up to bigger changes over time! :o) Yay, Max!

How does the new band look? Do you like it a bit better?

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better!

Subject: Max saw the Pediatrician today

We saw the Pediatrician today, we haven't seen him since the clear for the CT scan on 2/14 just prior to the band. Anyway, he said that he couldn't believe how much rounder Max's head looked! I couldn't believe it - he even said that his ears are virtually even. I have commented to my husband that I thought his ears looked better. As far as the head, maybe he is right...maybe I needed someone that hadn't seen him in a while to look. He told me to stop concentrating on the forehead bossing and his eye. He said that it is ruining my perspective. Funny, but that is what I concentrate on - I think everyone finds what they dislike most and keep looking at that...I am not doing that anymore. He said to definately keep the band on and to keep trying, he is all for it but he said that if he saw him today for the first time, he would definately diagnos him as mild Plagio!!!! Almost mild enough to not require treatment! Of course he did comment on the eye droop and wants me to keep up my visits to the Opthomologist. He said that vision should be of the utmost importance to me and not "cosmetics". He is right. He says you keep talking about his imperfections, and all I see here is a beautiful baby.Still seems to good to be true. I will stop focusing on the eye, I promise...I can't wait until the Neuro next Weds.....YEAH!!!!!!!I hope he says the same thing.........thanks always.Amy
