Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Thank you so much for your response. I'm trying to be strong for my children, although I am truly devasted also. We should have never been divorced, and the extenuating circumstances have made this very difficult for all. My daughter is also one of 'us', and is our Medical Consultant, as she is a Womens' Healthcare Nurse Practitioner. My daughter, Arden, has been with him 24-hour per day since Monday, as his Nurse Practitioner, his daughter, and his spiritual counselor. My son did not get there in time. And I am sitting here in a precarious awkward situation of not knowing what to do, other than sob & pray. I hope to be back in a few days! Guest guest
Oh Martha, my heart breaks for you. This brings tears to my eyes knowing that you should have been together all along. Please take care of yourself and allow yourself to grieve fully for your loss as well as your kids. You need to take that time to help you thru this traumatic time. Stay well my friend and stay in touch. My condolences to you and your family. Guest guest
Dearest Patty and All Who Have Responded, I am, indeed, so grateful for all of the sincere caring responses I have received from all of you. I have forwarded all your responses to my daughter, Arden, who was with her father when he died, March 28th, at 4:25 pm. Arden is also, 'one of us', and my beautiful daughter who was there as her father's medical attendant, and reading scripture to him, when he finally drew his last breath. We are so very thankful to have such caring, loving friends through the BI Network, at this time. Our love and prayers to all of you for your words of encouragement. Guest guest
Martha, Please know that my prayers are with you and your family! I lost my first husband in 95. We were seperated at the time of his auto accident. It takes alot of time and prayers. I try to be thankful for the time I was allowed with him and I know your family is a blessing to you as my daughter we had is to me. Lots of love and prayers! cristy >From: " MARTHA " <MAM-NSIF@...> >Reply- > " Pat G Wingate " <weedsworld@...> >CC: < > >Subject: Family Death >Date: Wed, 28 Mar 2001 13:16:51 -0600 > >Hi Ladies, > >The father of my children died this afternoon after a brief fight with >unoperable liver cancer.
