Guest guest
Amy: Max is on my calendar, and my thoughts are with you. I'm glad to hear that surgery will be done so quickly, as I think that it terrible to have to wait and wait (right Mel!). You knew something was not right, and you kept pushing. Mommy instinct wins again! I know everyone has already told you, but you really are a great Mommy and Max is so lucky to have you! There has been an abundance of stress in your life lately. I hope you have some family/friends that are close to you? You know that we will be here for you when ever you need anything! Hug your family, and *try* to take it easy over the next few weeks. He will have the CVR with frontal orbital advancement surgery. I ask that you will all keep us in your prayers. I will keep you all posted on Max and I hope that you will all keep me posted with your babies. I hope all of you have continued success on the road to a round head. I am sorry that Max has to go through such a terrible surgery but I know it is the right decision for all of us. I will always keep tabs on the group and remain an active member. Who would've thought this is how my first follow up with the neurosurgeon would go?I hope that I haven't worried you all.Max will (again) be in a helmet (i think) after surgery - this time it will really work! If I can ever help or answer any questions please feel free to contact me. I hope that my situation may someday help someone else.Thank you for your continued prayers and support!Love to all of you and your children,Amy
Guest guest
Amy, Thank you for the update and for giving us the date of Max's surgery. I think you can be certain that there will be a HUGE stream of prayers going in your direction on that day. It sounds like you are at peace with your decision and are ready to help Max through it. I am continually amazed at the strength that mothers (and fathers) have when push comes to shove. I'm glad to hear that you will stick with us and keep us posted. If you left now it would be like losing a friend!! Good luck Amy and for now I will be praying for peace and strength for you, Max and your family. Guest guest
Amy: I am so sorry that this wasn't caught sooner -- but I am happy that you are a wonderful mom, and took Max in for his follow-up, there was nothing you could have done to prevent this, please don't be too hard on yourself..... and please know that you are in our thoughts. *big hug* H.in Ohio (mom to Quinn) aka Kali -----Original Message-----From: syddesi2@...
