,

Congratulations and thank you for the update! It really sounds like you are

at peace with your decision and feel like you are doing the right thing. I

was very glad to read that you will be staying around! Your experience and

insight will be invaluable to the new people that join the group as well as

to those who have been around awhile.

Thank you and again, CONGRATS!!!!

Subject: Conor graduated!

Hello to all--Conor is now officially a former helmet-wearer! My husband met with the neurosurgeon this morning (my husband is much more in control of his emotions than I am--he's a mathematician and overall a very rational guy--so it was best that I stayed at work). He asked his own questions and read from a two-page list of questionsI'd prepared, and I'm finally satisfied with the answers we've gotten. The uneven height of Conor's frontal bones will become less uneven as Conor's skull bones thicken, the neuro maintains. He also pointed out that the uneven area will fall behind Conor's hairline; right now, it's at his hairline--because he has a baby hairline that will move forward as he gets toddler hair. I'm more or less at peace with this. We got, in the 4 months in the helmet, some nice rounding. I will post photos, probably thisweekend, to show off his last helmet design (my favorite) and his "new" head shape; I'd really appreciate feedback about it. I, too, will stick around to answer questions and help others in any way I can. Being a member of this group over the last four months has been invaluable; I can't say thank you often enough to the manypeople who have, directly and indirectly, helped my family through this emotional time. , Conor's mom, central PA
