Guest guest
So I just found out that i have a systemic fungal infection. Resulting from what was supposedly psoriasis. Well, It wasn't and after three years and a lot of stress it spread all over my torso and into the rest of my body. The Dr.s thought I was developing RA, then Fibromyalgia, because I was suffering severe arthritis and joint swelling. Then a new dermatologist finally diagnosed me. With a simple skin scraping. She prescribed Diflucan, I felt so much better that I was amazed. I knew my joint pain and my skin would clear, but I never new my severe mood swings, fatigue, lack of focus and MAJOR anger problems were even connected. I haven't had a blow up in two weeks. My husband said I had roid rage without the steroids, it was that bad. I feel so much better I am afraid to go off of it. I know I can't take it forever. What is going to happen when I quit? Is it all going to come back? I couldn't handle that again. What can I take or do to wean my body off of it and fight this infection on its own? Please help. I will do anything to not feel like that again, my kids and my husband are so happy they don't have walk on egg shells.
