Guest guest
When we first became aware that there was a problem with my grandson's head shape, we had no idea that there was such a thing as Plagio. I really didn't think I would find anything, so I put in a search for "Baby Skulls" and came up with the right links to take me to Plagio, which I am convinced that he has, however we can not get him in to the Specialist until the end of May. That is a real bummer for us because he is already 9 months old. I do have a question that you may or may not be able to answer: He is a preemie and would his adjusted age make a difference considering it is best to get treatment much earlier than this as he will be 11 months old at the time of the initial visit? His adjusted age right now is 6 months. Thank you, Cheryl Cochran....'s Mom Mom

Guest guest
Jaya, When Josh was diagnosed, by his pt, she told us he had " paleoencephaly " . When I typed this in to search, it didn't exist!! DUH, if your going to diagnose, make sure you have the proper disease / condidtion! I logged onto Dr. a and asked about paleoencephaly, and was told it was plagiocephaly and go to the Grace Lorileigh webpage. In there was the link to the board. Guest guest
Hi Jaya... Thanks for all of your hard work!!! When I finally was brave to research I tried all sorts of things.... "Abnormal Head Shape" got me to the Texas Cranialfacial Institute, and lead me to the plagiocephaly words which I could put into search engines, and then lead to other sites. H.
