The timing of when almonds and buckwheat can be added is different for each person. I was able to add buckwheat after being on the program for 8-9 months and I had almond milk after about 1 1/2 years. But almonds must be soaked in sea salt water 7 hours and dried to make them fit for human consumption like all grains, seeds and nuts. However, most almonds are now being irradiated (zapped with radiation) in the U.S. and Canada (maybe other countries as well), even those at the health store, so they are not a good choice depending upon where you live. Eating any foods that are microwaved or irradiated is very damaging to your body - see articles on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/menu2.php You could try adding such foods after you are following all of the steps of my program, with the last step being probiotics, after you are not experiencing die-off symptoms for a month. Try small amounts at first to see if you have adverse reactions. The best, Bee
