Guest guest
OK- I have always hated coconut and have been trying to eat it in different forms on this diet- in soups, in veggie, etc. with no luck- I gag and sometimes throw it up. I am not sure why but ever since I was a kid I just could not tolerate the smell or taste of coconut (even in candy bars). Is there an alternative to it? Guest guest
I can't stand the coconut oil either! I have tried every-which way to eat it and what finally works best for me is to treat it like bad-tasting medicine. I melt it and drink it, chase it with the electrolyte drink and follow it with a bee-licious meal. I drink it quick and don't inhale till after I've chased it and had a bite of food. I do this with 2 tablespoons per meal. Good luck! P.S.: I'm finding it is getting easier and easier to take. In the beginning I would almost gag, then I graduated to just yuck-faces and yuck-noises and now I can almost get it down while keeping a straight face > > OK- I have always hated coconut and have been trying to eat it in > different forms on this diet- in soups, in veggie, etc. with no luck- > I gag and sometimes throw it up. Sorry, there is no alternative to the benefits of coconut oil. You can buy good unrefined coconut oil that has no flavour whatsoever; see this article which was a survey done with members of this group which indicates the brands of coconut oil with no flavour: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/coconut5.php The best, Bee
Guest guest
I take it in the " Bee's Egg Drink " . You can't taste it in it. It's my favorite thing, and I make it and take it to work in the morning. -- -------I am not sure why but ever since I was a kid I just could not tolerate the smell or taste of coconut (even in candy bars).
