Guest guest
Hello, Bee. For a time I stopped using Magnesium supplementation (any kind) because every time I used it, I very quickly developed 'slimy' feet and skin around my ankles. My nail beds and the area around my nails also began to form increased levels of white stuff underneath and around my fingernail beds when using my Dr. Gillham's ionized megnesium citrate powder. I usually make an 'infusion' out of it by pouring very hot water on it as is suggested in the label. Well, to aid sleep and help to relieve my relentless anxiety and depression, I've started using the magnesium again, and only one day has gone by and my feet are starting to feel slimy and itchy again. If I continue using it, it won't be long until they start to get red and have patches of irritation that are no doubt yeast/fungal overgrowth that sort of resembles athletes foot. My hand fingernails will also start to develop more white dead skin build-up around the nail bed base. What am I to do? I've read before that ionizable magnesium will first feed the candida or other gut pathogens before being absorbed by my tissues, especially with strong digestive problems/malabsorption. How can I get my magnesium if my absorption is so poor, and seems to create for increased yeast growth, which is evident by my increased athletes foot issues (which go away over time if I stop taking the magnesium). Help! Thanks,

Guest guest
, change your magnesium to magnesium citrate tablets. Guest guest
Try topical magnesium gel or oil. You can use the oil in a spray 50/50 with water. www.healthandwisdom.com has both.
Guest guest
Bee, Could you explain why the tablets would be better and what does Gillhams magnesium do different to cause the problem. Guest guest
HI , The tablets will be better than the liquid in your case. I have also read about one case where a women with Chrohn's could not use magnesium citrate (even though it is most highly recommended), but was better off with magnesium oxide so if the citrate doesn't work, you could try the oxide (which wouldn't normally be recommended). The reasoning was that she had Candida and the oxide was less available to the yeast, but she was actually able to absorb it and it proved useful to her. However, I do know that magnesium citrate tablets are being taken by many people and there have been no problems reported. That's why I suggessted change over to them. Guest guest
> > Bee - i take magnesium asportate - is this okay? ==>Hi . The problem with magnesium aspartate is that very little is contained in each pill, so you have to take a lot of them in order to obtain enough magnesium. Ensure the label states the amount of " elemental magnesium " so you can take enough of them, and if the label doesn't state it you could contact the manufacturer to find out. It is much better to take magnesium citrate capsules which should also state the amount of " elemental magnesium " per dose. Elemental magnesium is the amount in milligrams that are absorbed. Guest guest
Dear Bee, I am amazed to find out that everything in your article is true in regard of bacteria's growing more fast in yeast environment. I was told by gynecologist that I have E coli in my vagina but I hope it didn't reach bladder yet bc I don't have any symptoms there but only pelvic pain and heavy menses bleeding from adenomyoma. I had red that magnesium citrate should be taken to help with E coli, vitamins and herbs like uva-ursi. I am going to try Barberry bc it also help for GB and H.Pylori but I am not sure about magnesium. Every time I take it I have pain in esophagus which feels very tight and cramps in my legs. I tried to take it along too. In my test there are no info about magnesium but calcium level is normal. I don't want to take too much calcium bc I have red that it can cause plague in arteries. My father has arthrosclerosis and had operation to replace all of them to plastic pipes. Probably I don't need much magnesium too if I have side effects. It is also interesting that when I have tried Epson salt bath I was more constipated that ever before. I am not sure I can take it in as many other people do but I know it can help to detoxify. There is also Magnesium hydroxide available for detox. Probably it is better to clean intestines for me bc I can't tolerate any laxatives. Bulk laxatives even cause hiatal hernia to me and severe constipation in the past. Thank you, Liz > > Bee - i take magnesium asportate - is this okay? > > > > , change your magnesium to magnesium citrate tablets. > > > > > > Bee >

And like candida E. coli, salmonella and other bacteria are normally found in the body. > > Every time I take it I have pain in esophagus which feels very tight and cramps in my legs. I tried to take it along too. In my test > there are no info about magnesium but calcium level is normal. I > don't want to take too much calcium bc I have red that it can cause > plague in arteries. Heart disease and heart attacks are caused by a process called atherosclerosis, often referred to as " hardening of the arteries. " This process involves the deposit of cholesterol in the walls of blood vessels, causing areas called " plaques, " which over time gradually build up to form blockages which can cause heart attacks. This process occurs in almost everyone and often starts early, even in the teen years. It usually takes many years before the plaques are large enough to actually cause a problem. However, if we could detect plaques in people before they cause a problem, we could try to prevent them from getting larger. Ultrafast CT scanning is a new method that allows us to detect the presence of plaque before it has caused a problem. How is this possible? Plaques often contain calcification, a bone- like substance that can be seen by specialized type of x-rays. ****This has nothing to do with the calcium in your blood,**** but is important because it is a marker for plaque in the blood vessel. Calcification is not normally present, so when we see it we know that plaque must be present. Ultrafast CT scanner is a specially designed instrument that can detect even very small amounts of calcification in the coronary arteries, the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart muscle. Therefore, it is a new method to detect heart plaque even in people who have no symptoms of heart disease. By doing this, it may allow the detection of people who are at higher than average risk for developing heart attacks in the future. Also in the article " The Oiling of America " by Sally Fallon & Enig, Weston A. Price Foundation, write that " . . . oxidized cholesterol seems to initiate the buildup of plaque in the arteries.33 Powdered milk containing oxidized cholesterol is added to reduced fat milk—to give it body—which the American public has accepted as a healthier choice than whole milk. " ==>You will get cramps if you take magnesium without taking calcium because taking one will deplete the body of the other one. > > It is also interesting that when I have tried Epson salt bath I was > more constipated that ever before. You do not need to clean out your intestines on this high " good " fats diet, since the oil soluble supplements, omega 3 and saturated fats will work together to strengthen and cleanse the intestines and the whole body. Guest guest
Thank you Bee for such detailed answer. I think I can try such test in the future bc I have severe palpitations and chest pain after that. My doc said I have murmurs but I hope it is just temporarily. I have red that H Pylori can cause some heart problems. Now I can relax bc after reading report about new research in England about calcium I was afraid even taking it to reduce pain from heartburn. I have red in Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine that bacterial infection could be helped with Spleen supplement. I have already ordered it from Essential Vitamins.com bc it is the most pure one I have found on-line. Is it Ok to take it? I am not agreed with everything in this book. For exaple, there is written that without fiber detoxification is not possible bc only fiber can bind toxins in intestines. As usually they recommend to take more fiber including the most harsh stuff like Phillicum or Cascara Sargada which cause such terrible pain to me. High good fats are the very best detoxifiers for our bodies, along with oil soluble vitamins A, D & E, omega 3, etc. Luv, Bee
