Hi Cheryl

Thank you for updating us.

This is super cool news that your labs are perfect, and your still undetectable.

It sure sounds to me like your going to beat the tar outa the dragon.

And you still have the energy to work too....wow.

You are doing great.

About your daughters Insurance - do like you were advised to do.

Call the Insurance company and talk with them.

Dont worry about the coverage tho - there are many routes to take.

She has watched you do treatment and stand strong.

I have no doubt that this will give her the assurence to proceed too.

We are all blasting you both with love, healing, and everything good.

Hello friends, hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I had my week 20 doctor visit today, she said all my blood work was perfect, I am still undectable and she said if I am still that way at week 24 she said she was confident that I would achive SVR since I was an early responder! It was such wonderful news, it really makes all this hell worth it to hear that. The fatigue has been kicking my butt, but I am still running my daycare out of my home and doing everything I was doing before tx. Even with taking the procrit, it has been tough. Thankfully the procrit works for me, or I wouldn't be able to get out of bed. lol I am excited and hopeful, almost half way through tx.

My daughter gets her liver biopsy this friday, and then we will go see the doctor and decide what she will do. I am concerned though because she has insurance under my husbands insurance until Dec 31 2011. She works full time as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant and can get insurance through her employer so I can't keep her on mine til she's 26 sadly. So my question is if she starts tx under our insurance and then is still on tx at the end of the year how will that work? I don't think under Obama health care that she can be denied for the pre-existing conditon, but I am not sure. I asked our doctor today when I saw her about it and she said to find out who the health insurance is through her work and call them and tell them her dilema and see what they will cover. I don't know what to do, if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly apprecitate it.

Thanks so much!

Oh my heavens, CherylI can't help but think, what a terrible thing to have to think about during your own tx and certainly for your daughter!! You know that being a Canadian, there is nothing I can suggest. You are amazing!!! Still doing daycare and taking the procrit?? Wow, you are sure a fighter. Your daughter will absolutely have the dragon on the run if she has 1/2 of your fighting spirit.Luv Gloria
