Guest guest
Hi Jane, From memory as I have been taking armour at night for years now, it was a few days, I know that I had lovely dreams first and others mentioned this also, so dont be suprised if this happens. I would allow 2 weeks and review if it is better for you or not. > I take the meds as I am on my way to bed about 10.30/11ish. jennyfreeman > evening everyone; jenny with regards to taking armour at night, how > long before a benefit was felt ? regards jane > > > > >
Guest guest
I take it en route to bed at about 10.30/11pm ish. I look forward to reading about everyones experiences. If the reports are the same as those on the about.com forum it will be positive. I think that by taking it at bedtime the stomach is empty and during the night also doesn't have any interference in getting into the system. If I am recalling correctly, Dr Blanchard starting recommending it as an alternative dosing time about a year after had reported on her home experiment. freeman > Oh Wow - then I will give it a go. I often forget my afternoon dose until around 6.00p.m. so tomorrow, I will go without and take it at night. Do you take it when you go to bed or in the evening. > Lovingkindness > > A Group > > to share and learn. > > Sitebuilder > Build a web site > > quickly & easily > > with Sitebuilder. > . > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com > Version: 8.0.169 / Virus Database: 270.6.15/1648 - Release Date: 02/09/2008 17:29 >
Guest guest
The first 4-week phase of bicarb treatment for me ends in a couple of days. I've noticed no difference other than a possible slightly improved skin condition (troubled by small chalky patches, like a localised psoriasis -- I suspect these relate to candida). Reports will follow on my daughters' experiences. Rgds Hans > > I started bicarb about 10 days ago, the first week, yes, I was running to the loo - almost getting 'taken short' but this week, I seem to have got used to it because I am now having normal bowel action. However, I will stop it for a couple of weeks after four weeks. I don't have Candida Albicans either, at least, I am almost sure I don't, but I want to keep my inside clear of the possibility. > > Luv - Sheila
Guest guest
I can't say for others but mine is tired all the time! Especially the week of her treatment. My daughter is now 20 but she could not even do a full day of school, We found when her levels were low she would be really tired. We just except it and take lots of breaks and she sleeps lots, wait until she started her cycle, mine is down in bed that week she is so run down. Guest guest
Tristen is 5, but she tires easily and pretty fast. I still have a stroller for her for when we go to the mall or for outings like the zoo. The day of her infusion she seems to be extra tired and usually takes a nap. I'm worried how she will handle all day kindergarten next year. I am doing a 504 for her that will say she can rest in the nurses office if needed or come home if she's too tired. It's hard to see her not be able to keep up with her older sister when running around outside or riding her bike, but I think for Tristen, it's just part of who she is and she's ok with it. She knows when she has to slow down or take a rest and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. le ________________________________ From: lulabells_mom <dscism06242002@...> Sent: Sun, May 2, 2010 7:41:29 PM Subject: Tired I havent posted in a long time but i do read all the post and I have learned so much from everyone.. so here is my question, my girl 7 has hypogamma, and other issues, she has been getting very tired over the last few months, dr. is doing blood works so far all is good, he wants me to send her to cardio dr. to just rule out somethings, do your kids tire easy and how do you deal with it,, I honestly think it is her diease,, and how do you take your kids out like the zoo.. do you have a stroller or how do you get around??? Guest guest
Macey is on subq but still tires easily. She had a stroller for years past the recommended weight but now has a transport chair. She also has had a reduced schedule at school but hih school has been alittle harder to do that with. Guest guest
Just a thought but with my son who is now 14 he tired much more in the beginning of treatment and when he was on IV. Now that he is on Sub Q and it has been 10 years his energy level seems to be about average for his age. Maybe he has just learned to push a bit more I do not know. Guest guest
You know I do know that now that my son is out of school and is home schooled that he sleeps LOTS but I figured that was a part of being a teen and that he likes to stay up late. It may be that his new schedule has REALLY helped him function better overall. I know for him he had LOADS more anxiety and depression when he was running trying to get up for school and do extra activities. It all makes more sense as I think about it. He does not complain for being tired but does refuse to do a great deal of extra activities. Guest guest
Viv, I am sorry to hear about the emotional rollercoaster you have been on. I think going out for walk in the sunshine will help. I know this is easier said than done but please try to remain positive. Hugs, ________________________________ From: Vivienne <ruffed.lemur@...> weightloss Sent: Mon, March 21, 2011 9:25:06 AM Subject: Tired  Hi I often don't post when I am down (hence why I haven't posted for all of last week). I am surviving, but it is bloomin hard work. I'm keeping food in balance, so that isn't the problem. It would be nice to be losing, but that is probably expecting too much at the moment. Bereavement is just the weirdest emotional thing I have ever been through. " Mood swings " just don't describe it and the downs are the most down I have ever been. It takes so much self correcting and being kind to myself, that by the time I get back into balance, I'm exhausted with all the effort. I'm tempted to eat just to get the energy back, but I know that is not the solution. I wish it could be enough to just be happy that I am alive and I have a life to live and should make the most of every day, as my mum would have, had she been here, but the effort is severe. I have days of happiness and I think, that's it you are getting there, but then a few days later I'm back into the pit again. I know I just have to get through this and you can't help, but my poor husband has shouldered enough roller coaster mood swings for a lifetime! Going out for a walk in the Spring sunshine now, for a break from my computer, if not from myself. Viv

Guest guest
Hi Viv, I'm sorry that you're feeling down. I know the mood swings very well. Some days are okay and I go about my day. But then there are other times when I feel so down and miserable, or very upset and angry. I think the ups and downs are a normal part of the process, and how long it takes for a person to heal from the loss of a loved one is different for everyone. One of my co-workers said something to me that I use to remind myself when I feel that I " should " be back to normal. She said, " If it takes you six months to heal, it takes six months. If it takes six years, then it takes six years. Don't let anybody tell you when you should be done grieving. " You are doing the right thing by being kind to yourself. I hope that you gain some peace and balance from your walk outside. With love, Yuna > > Hi > I often don't post when I am down (hence why I haven't posted for all of last week).
