Guest guest
Hi Carmen: LOL. I guess I completely made my point, HUH? Sorry, I didn't mean that last one to be that way but I meant to say that it must be the over 50 thingee that causes us to get looking for signatures when we read something and if they are not there it bugs us. Really though it is hard to answer someone if you don't know who you are talking to. Tricia I wasn't just picking on Holly it was just because I was at that point and her message was there in front of me, lol. Like I said it wasn't meant for any specialk person but was for all of those Stilligans who inadvertantly forget to sign their nessages and I do know that it is not intentional so {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to all and all take care and be PAIN FREE! Guest guest
Bob sweety, Well now I know you weren't picking on our Holly, but I just thought she might feel bad, and she maybe know you are about the kindest man on earth. I think everyone gets frustrated when a name is missing at the end of a message. What if we got a letter in the mail from someone, and they didn't sign their name at the end?? Feel a little bad wouldn't we? There are some who do this on a regular basis, and a reminder is good. Give your Carole a hug for me okay?? I really miss you guys!!! Love & hugs to both of you! Guest guest
Jen, It means to take down all the symptoms (emotional/mental, physical and anything that might make the symptom better or worse like heat/cold, fresh air/stuffy room, etc...). Then you take ALL the symptoms and recent changes you can find and look up each symptom to see which remedy fits it. You check them all and the remedy that has the most " hits " will most likely be your fit. In Sheri's intro to homeopathy class she teaches how to do this for minor acutes at home and she gives you a sheet you can download that's great for repertorizing. It's also in the back of the Miranda Castro book that she uses in the class. I never did complete the class last year but fully intend to as it's quite helpful. HTH, Sheri B. Guest guest
I've been trying to recover from the anger I been experiencing connected with how some people treat others - however I have watched the videos and have been in the process of passing them on and also considering my next plan of attack to wake some up to things that are happening - some people are very stubborn in turning a blind eye - that and my carpal tunnel still playing up :-( having to wear wrist strap most of time at moment. > > No more comments on the links to the videos I posted? > > If this forum is that empty, maybe there is no need for it anymore. > > Tom > Administrator >

Guest guest
I threw myself into a project painting and will be as long as my body doesn't give up on me. In the video of the woman with autism speaking with the computer generated voice. I wish more people could see and hear what she said. Too many people assume that if a person can not speak that they must be stupid or have nothing to say. I recently saw a documentary of an autisic girl who was going to college and she was able to present what it was like to work with a student aide who lived with her, her disability and how it felt to be her. I was truely enlightened. I must go and finish, otherwise I may never sleep. This unfinished project gnaws at my mind and even when I know my body needs to stop. Guest guest
Dear Tom, The hours of work that you put into these forums demonstrate your caring and dedication. I am very grateful for the service that you are providing. I am sorry if it seems to indicate a lack of caring on my part that I find myself both without e-mail connection during my down time and have many hours of involvement in my busness projects as well as with clients and volunteer work that take most of my days and weekends. I rarely get to read the digests that come through - I am fairly positive that most of the people here really value your time, caring and effort. I know that at times that may not be apparent. I also find that it is the nature of groups to have phases where there is more involvement than at other times. It often seems like the ebb and flow of the tide - and the special effects that the moon and season can have on the tides. Group energy and dynamics are like that - especially after intense involvement many times people need a period to regroup interiorly - and often in groups people seem to phase into an energy pattern. And then there is that most of the people here are Aspie - I have been evaluated as profoundly so - and thus after daily outer world involvement and work with private projects and volunteering, if I have e-mail access I really don't have the energy to make a significant contribution - I feel uncomfortable if I send something off that is only a whisper of what I would like to relay. Perhaps others are having some of the same outer involvement and need to regroup privately???? I apologize if my personal silence has in any way contributed to your being frustrated. Again, I very much value your work and feel that you are doing incredible service by providing these outlets for Aspies. Respectfully, Zarin > > No more comments on the links to the videos I posted? > > If this forum is that empty, maybe there is no need for it anymore. > > Tom > Administrator >

Many times a project or something has gotten locked in my mind and won't let me rest even though my body is barely hanging on. As for the videos, I appreciate them being posted, but I don't often watch internet videos. Partly this is an old habit from getting a virus some years ago, and also because I prefer to read rather than watch videos. I'm also not sure I could have stood to watch those "treatment" videos anyway. See what's free at AOL.com.

Guest guest
I never have much luck downloading videos. Guest guest
Thanks. There are plenty more where that came from and I may be posting them at some future date. Additionally, Raven and I will be putting a few podcasts on our MIC site that will be of interest to people with AS and autism. Welcome to the forum.
